stuckincincy Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 how did so many people develop reactions to peanuts ????????????????? 235978[/snapback] I don't know. I wonder if it's somehow related to the "It's All About Me" philosophy that is prevalent. Or the doctors and lawyers sensed fresh meat.

billsfanone Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 What is the difference between Buffalo fish fry and fried fish from a good Irish restaurant?
CBusBillsFan Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Yeah, here in Columbus there is this place called Old Bag of Nails Pub, they have a GREAT fish fry special, but every time I go in there I order a fish fry, not fish and chips and I get the weirdest looks. Also, those pastry hearts they sell in WNY, you can’t find those anywhere else. Same with sponge candy and weck.

aussiew Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 They had fish fry in Pittsburgh. But they call it a fish sandwich. Same thing but with a burger bun. Tasted "almost' the same. My favorite WNY fish fry was at the Beach House on Grand Island.

gmac17 Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I have never heard of this. Is this fish fried and then coated in Buffalo wing sauce? lol nah, think fish and chips fish. For some reason (lots of Catholics I guess) every restaurant you go to in WNY on a Friday sells fish fry....especially during Lent.

Round here, they serve it with Mac and cheese every Fry-day. I like my fish broiled rather than fried. But the Mac and Cheese, ahh Too Die For.

\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 My wife hasn't let me eat any "fried" food for over 5 years. Then again, that's probably while I have a 33-waist.

World B. Free...haven't heard that name in decades.
