KD in CA Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Good for him; the drone thing seems to be getting out of control quickly.
Maury Ballstein Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Wish he would have went full Kromer on them when they showed up asking are you the guy that shot down our drones. Stupid kids.
KD in CA Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Wish he would have went full Kromer on them when they showed up asking are you the guy that shot down our drones. Stupid kids. It sounds like they backed down at just the right moment.
Maury Ballstein Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 It sounds like they backed down at just the right moment. Snooping on my 16 year old daughter who "loves to go to the pool everyday" Oh hell no. I'd have went Kromer on these horny drone nerds.
KD in CA Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Snooping on my 16 year old daughter who "loves to go to the pool everyday" Oh hell no. I'd have went Kromer on these horny drone nerds. Yeah, that sounds a lot more believable than the 'it was taking pictures of my friends house' story.
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 "They asked me, 'Are you the S-O-B that shot my drone?' and I said, 'Yes I am,'" he said. "I had my 40 mm Glock on me and they started toward me and I told them, 'If you cross my sidewalk, there's gonna be another shooting.'" Shotgun AND a Glock . . . wonder where he kept his back-up piece?
Marv's Neighbor Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 The sad thing is, the guy who protected his property was the one who the cops went after!
Gugny Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 The sad thing is, the guy who protected his property was the one who the cops went after! Well, in fairness, he's the only one who broke a law. But after thinking about this for a few days, my "good for him," takeaway still stands. I'm in favor of a team of Drone Snipers.
4merper4mer Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) I'm in favor of a team of Drone Snipers. That could be taken out of context and make people think you're ok with shooting Canadians. I think to avoid confusion they should call them "Flying unmanned craft and needlessly amphibious devices also", but that is probably too long and they should come up with an anachronism. FUC ANADA or is it FU CANADA FUCANADA?
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 See the vote on this? 90% believe he was right. He did discharge the weapon though, that's what they are nailing him on. But why the hell didn't the police confiscate the drone and pull the simm card? Boy did the police muff this muff chasing drone. For the record, I side with the shooter. The unlawful discharge seems very reasonable and thought out w/regard to safety.
Beef Jerky Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) Anyone see on the news a video of a drone with a gun attached to it... https://youtu.be/xqHrTtvFFIs Edited August 2, 2015 by Beef Jerky
4merper4mer Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 FUC ANADA or is it FU CANADA FUCANADA? Wow. I'm glad I left out the part about crawling kinetics.
