Black ICE Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Jim Miller is injured and rules state that if a player can not pass a physical he can not be cut. He can be put on IR list, PUP list if he has never played a down in camp or an injury settlement can be done. Players union is very firm on this rule. How come Pats got away with this?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 I read that and was wondering the same thing. But then I realized it was the Pats. I'm sure they'll make it a "point of emphasis" next year.
Rayzer32 Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 How do the Pats get away with the "Tuck Rule" and "The Illegal Contact Rule" and "The Pass Interference In The Endzone Rule" and "The Clearing Away The Snow For A FG Rule". Bob Krap is blowing someone.
Rubes Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Not to mention the "Ball Touching An Extremity While the Player Lay Unconsious Out-Of-Bounds Rule"
Rayzer32 Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 I also forgot, they put Dana Stubblefield on IR so that makes everything ok with the NFL, unless your one of the other 31 teams..
Rayzer32 Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 One report has they resigned him. It must be some sort of contract change they got approved by the league but they needed to wait for him to pass waivers. 18010[/snapback] Approved by the league? In other words, Bob Krap blew someone again!!!
