C.Biscuit97 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I despise Goodell but good for him for not cowering. No more sleepovers with Kraft. Take it to court Tommy boy. I bet this goes to court like Rafeal Palmerio and A Rod. Cheaters talk big until they really get pressed.
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Who does one direct to destroy one's phone? He gave it to his assistant
TheFunPolice Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Patriots* fans are convinced that everyone is out to get them. This season we are! It's time for more of those Chiefs MNF games! It's coming!
Mr. WEO Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) His personal assistant I think. Man, that's nuts! Brady left too many witnesses. "The Destroyer". Edited July 28, 2015 by Mr. WEO
BuffaloWings Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This is just the beginning.... A friend suggested that this will play out over the course of the season, go through the courts, and by Week 14, the NFL will win the lawsuit and Brady's suspension will be upheld. Thus, he'll miss the last 4 games of the regular season - when the Patriots* will need him to cheat/win a few games to either make the playoffs or for playoff positioning.

I want him out week 2.
ChanOverChin Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Brady cheated, did what a good cheater would do by destroying his phone. He got off easy with only four games if you ask me. What a f'n cheater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TheFunPolice Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 if the league pays him but suspends him, what is his basis for a lawsuit? He will have been denied nothing and his union agreed to these provisions in the CBA
Talley56 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) If this does go to court, how long would it take? Wouldn't it take over a month thus go into the season any way? Or, he gets the ruling in his favor and does get the games back, would it all be settled in time for 9/10? This is just the beginning.... plenzmd1 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 We know in a court proceeding that they can recover the texts. But we now also know that he didn't want anyone to see them. it's inarguable. So no way if he going to contest the investigation. He's a cheater and a liar and worse than we even thought, as a lot of us have been saying all along. I don't know how anyone can defend that in any way. I have e done a true 360 on this. I was a "guilty as hell" guy, then the science in the Wells report said " can't prove it, I don't think he did it"...till now and I am "guilty as hell again" You and a few others never left the guilty as hell camp...I was wrong ( for first time ever)

YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Who wants to apologize to Stephen A. Smith?? OK... that's a reach
Mr. WEO Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 When's the last time a player didn't get a reduction on a non-substance suspension?
The Big Cat Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This notion that he WILL take this court and that WILL render the suspension obsolete is nonsense. He doesn't want the exposure.
TheFunPolice Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 you know Schopp and the Bulldog are ecstatic right now.... The only other option was a vegetable draft!

Deranged Rhino Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Rand Getlin @Rand_Getlin 9s9 seconds ago From decision: Brady gave his old cellphone to his assistant to be destroyed on or about the day he met with Ted Wells to be questioned. They need a subpoena to get the records, though, correct? So I assume that they can and will recover them if he does go to court. Good point. Who does one direct to destroy one's phone? His assistant -- though why Brady needs a personal assistant is beyond me.

WotAGuy Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Who does one direct to destroy one's phone? Give it to one of my daughters....they routinely destroy theirs!
