Welcome to the rest of the NFL Patriots. First series of game vs Carolina, 3rd down pass attempt - OL gets called for illegal hands to the face.

Have a feeling there will be zero tolerance from referees this year.

One down, 763 to go to even out the BS penalty calls the Pats* have gotten in the Brady/Belicheat era....

I really think this could be true. The officials have to be furious with Brady.

For saying the nfl is incompetent? this is a league that let them strike very recently. Many of the refs likely have little affection for how the league handles business.

No, for stealing the balls and then altering them and then denying it.

That's spitting in the face of the officials.

Yup. What do you think happens next time Andersen's crew officiates a * game?

May have spoken too soon--Pats* have only that one penalty. Meanwhile, Cats have 5 for 45 yds in the half. Brady just led a two-minute TD drive with an 18 yarder to--wait for it--Scott Chandler

Then Jimmy G comes in and should have had two pick sixes on his first drive. A couple decent throws and two abysmal ones.

So much for the argument that Pash just did a bit of "wordsmithing " of the Wells report. He was "co-investigator".

And no access to the Wells notes for the NFLPA?

Trouble for the league..

That's nonsense. He did nothing on the investigation whatsoever until it was over, and then he edited/wordsmithed what was already found.

Why is he listed as a co-investigstor?

Why is he listed as a co-investigstor?

Because Wells isn't part of the league. When the league decided to do an investigation he was the main counsel and they hired Wells to do the entire actual investigation with no help from the league. He came back months and months later and handed it in.

How do you know this?

Because there were a bunch of articles on what they did and I read the entire report. There has never really been any accusation that he was actually part of it. There wouldn't have been anything for him to do.

If you want to just say you don't know that and just assume that he was there with no reason whatsoever go ahead.

good for Scott. He's going to be a great fit in that offense.

When the judge calls him a "co-investigstor" and only he is allowed to read and edit the report, I see reason to be less sure of his nonivolvement than you are.

The Brady team brought that up because BEFORE the investigation even started the NFL announced it in their official release.

The idea they were not allowed to see his notes is somewhat of an issue, and another mistake the NFL probably made. But even the NFLPA and Kessler and Brady's team isn't accusing him of being part of the investigation. Just you.
