Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Eat a bag, Brady. Cheating !@#$.
Clockwork Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I'm worried this is going to drag on how with his lawsuit. Why not just be a man, take the suspension, and apologize? What a B word.
TheFunPolice Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 He will now sue, his lawyers will drag the legal process out for years, and he will retire without ever having missed a single game. Damn you Russell Wilson....

He destroyed the cell phone? Doesn't he know records don't stay on the physical phone itself?
Canadian Bills Fan Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Yeah this means nothing. As long as he goes to court he will not miss a game CBF
eball Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 That paragraph about directing the destruction of his phone is the "smoking gun" so many have been looking for. Makes all the difference in the world with respect to public perception of the suspension. Saying "I didn't do it" is one thing. Saying "destroy the evidence -- but I didn't do it" is another. Eff you, Brady.
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Rand Getlin @Rand_Getlin 9s9 seconds ago From decision: Brady gave his old cellphone to his assistant to be destroyed on or about the day he met with Ted Wells to be questioned. They can still recover the texts... They need a subpoena to get the records, though, correct? So I assume that they can and will recover them if he does go to court.
TheFunPolice Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 He will forever be known as a cheater. If it weren't for one freaking STUPID playcall he would have had his heart torn out in the Super Bowl AGAIN, been 3-3, AND has his legacy destroyed all in one year. But I guess we can't be greedy.
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Ruling: “Goodell found that Brady’s deliberate destruction of potentially relevant evidence went beyond a mere failure to cooperate.”
Kelly the Dog Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 We know in a court proceeding that they can recover the texts. But we now also know that he didn't want anyone to see them. it's inarguable. So no way if he going to contest the investigation. He's a cheater and a liar and worse than we even thought, as a lot of us have been saying all along. I don't know how anyone can defend that in any way.

Depends if they are true "text messages" (SMS) or if they are Apple iMessages. If the latter, I think they're gone. Anybody know if Brady used an iPhone?
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Mike Garafolo @MikeGarafolo 3m3 minutes ago Not surprising a huge celebrity would destroy his phone. Problem for Goodell was timing: On or around day of interview w/ Wells.
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Time to tune into little Boston radio and crack an early afternoon brewskie
Kelly the Dog Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Who does one direct to destroy one's phone? His personal assistant I think.
eball Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Oh, this is great: Albert Breer @AlbertBreer 1m1 minute ago Brady communicated to the commissioner that he routinely destroys his phone for security reasons.
