YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 @ProFootballTalk: Cardinals hire a female assistant coach for training camp and preseason http://t.co/BpmFUqaP8f
FluffHead Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Did she have to sign a confidentiality agreement?
VaMilBill Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Who cares? If she's good. Fine. If not, whatever.
RuntheDamnBall Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Good for them. Hopefully she has the credentials and does well with the Cards. There could be worse things in sports than having more positive female role models in the sports world. As a father of two girls it would be nice for them to see more of that.
hondo in seattle Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Interesting. There is no skill set in football that the right woman couldn't teach. The problem, of course, is that most women don't have the background as players or college coaches to land NFL gigs. And that's a huge obstacle with no obvious/easy solution. Congrats to Jen Welter
truth on hold Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 She's got more balls than Jauron, that's for sure
fansince88 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 In my best Sandlot voice...YOU COACH LIKE A GIRL!!!
Blokestradamus Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This interview with her is making me love her. I get excited just listening to her talk about tackling technique. We have the same rugby background and the same philosophy on teaching tackling as an art form. The innuendo is also absolutely hilarious.
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Who cares? If she's good. Fine. If not, whatever.a lot of people care, because it is historical.

There's no way she said that legitimately.
CountryCletus Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Blondie at 1:34... That had to have been a set up. There's no way she said that legitimately. The "I've never been plowed by anything 6'4" " or whatever the height was?

We could give her shot on practice squad.
4merper4mer Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 In related news, Poojer is on stub hub pricing out ticket to Cards camp.

Congrats to Jen Welter She did play in an indoor league. There are few options for women to play football. I hope she does well. Coaching is about strategy and motivation and talent management. It takes leadership. If she has those skills she's ahead of a number of coaches who've recently darkened the doorways of the Ralph
C.Biscuit97 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Good for them but to be 100% honest, I'd would be weird to be coached by a woman. I see it more in other sports like baseball or even basketball but football is different. But I hope she does well and does a good job.
Deranged Rhino Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 The Pop effect in the NFL. Good stuff. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11312366/becky-hammon-hired-san-antonio-spurs
