Got to like OU and OSU football. Was fun, and after the game we would party till the wee small hours. We could sleep in the next day and wake up in time to watch NFL game on tv. We could sleep in the next day and wake up in time to watch NFL game on tv.replace the NFL road trips with Cleveland and Cincinnati and college games with Ohio state and that right there pretty much sums up life in Cbus in my 20s. So like the whole stadium might know the one team is gonna run the ball up the gut and they get 7 yards a pop regardless. And then sometimes both teams are able to do that to each other in the same game and then you get those silly 56-49 games that you see so often. There is nothing better than a well played 20-17 football game and there are way more of those in the NFL. Totally random but I remember a Titans-Ravens playoff game in Tennessee the year Kerry Collins was their qb and they had the 1 seed and Baltimore won, I wanna say, 17-14? Every inch was contested the whole game. It was muddy, bloody and a 3 yard run was a successful play all day. Anyway I remember watching that game and thinking, THIS is why I love football. Rumored names are Dontre Wilson, Corey Smith, Jalin Marshall, and possibly Joey Bosa. All starters. Violation of team rules (little too much celebrating, legal in some states). I'm not going the uninformed "It's just gay porn" route. I understand what they're doing and respect them as athletes. But from a spectator's point of view, it's boring as hell to watch. Not to be too much of a homer but they were SO good at the end of last year and the losses were pretty minimal (although they will miss Devin Smith). They may just run through the schedule. I have been thinking about it but my mom has been really sick so my football travels are kind of on hold until that situation changes. but you know how they start slow. I am worried. Maybe I need to get off the Ozone forum. But I feel like they squeaked by too many teams they should have blown out of the water last year and it didn't really all come together on defense until the post season. My only solace is the OL is in great shape compared to where they were last year, and the offense could be tough to out-score. I do think they they may miss Doran Grant.
