TH3 Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Cuomo is a blowhard and an egomaniac....but I would add that the overturning of campaign finance reform by scotus was a bigger blow to democracy than other elements....witness the current choices for our next president as well as the production of congress....
unbillievable Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Can someone explain to me how he can force $15/hr without a law in place?
GG Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I thought it was his support for the free loaders who are ruining a community?
Nanker Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Well he's a fast learner isn't he. He followed Bill's directives while heading up HUD and drove the mortgage bus at breakneck speed off the cliff. Now he's following his new hero macho man POTUS who has a pen and a phone. Bravo Libtards. Bravo.
Chef Jim Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 So they raised the minimum wage for fast food employees only? What the hell?? If I were a bagger at a grocery store I'd be pissed.
Nanker Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Grocery store baggers are mostly white school kids and retirees. Most fast food workers are Hispanic. Makes sense now?
Dante Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Well he's a fast learner isn't he. He followed Bill's directives while heading up HUD and drove the mortgage bus at breakneck speed off the cliff. Yes he was part of the government thugs, along with people like Janet Reno, that threatened the banks.
/dev/null Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Can someone explain to me how he can force $15/hr without a law in place? Because the concept of representative government does not apply when Democrats hold executive authority.
Very wide right Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Can someone explain to me how he can force $15/hr without a law in place? Because we live in a society that is governed by emotion not the constitution. It's a progressive thing. Here is a bigger question, how can any politician decide where, how and if I'm allowed to defend myself by shrinking my rights under the 2nd amendment? If it wasn't for the libs and socialists we would not allow politicians to erase our rights.
3rdnlng Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 So, only fast food workers get a raise in pay, making fast food more expensive for the retail clerks, baggers, stockers and cooks in diners, etc., you know, the people making less than $15 an hour. This now takes a Big Mac out of their price range while simultaneously making conventional restaurants more competitive with the Burger Kings of this world. Fast food chains lose market share and not only lay off people but invest in automation, further reducing their workforce. The former fast food worker finds it difficult to locate a job, and when she does the pay is so low ($10 an hour) that she stays on unemployment until that runs out and then goes on welfare. This my friends is the new Julia, compliments of all those smart liberal policies.

Would you mind clarifying the connection between the NY governor's $15/hour minimum wage decree and federal encroachment on our 2nd amendment rights?

Yeah but just think how happy the democrat voters will be before they figure out what you already know.Once again if the spineless GOP would only speak out loud about this.......... Would you mind clarifying the connection between the NY governor's $15/hour minimum wage decree and federal encroachment on our 2nd amendment rights? I was using that as an example to explain the previous posters question. The fact that government always governs on emotion these days instead of the constitution they swore an oath to.I hope I dumbed that down enough for you.

The fact that government always governs on emotion these days instead of the constitution they swore an oath to.I hope I dumbed that down enough for you. Turn down the vitriol, little guy. You responded to this question regarding the governor of New York State: "Can someone explain to me how he can force $15/hr without a law in place?" with a comparison to the right to bear arms, which makes absolutely no sense at all. You may want to 'smart your posts up' a bit if you want to conduct any kind of dialogue.
DC Tom Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 You may want to 'smart your posts up' a bit if you want to conduct any kind of dialogue. What? And deprive us of the pleasure of the upcoming VWR vs Gatorman cage match?

It seems as if as soon as it pops into his head it comes out as a post. He's the type of person who should have done a lot of lurking before that first post. He's taking it on the chin in the Shoutbox right now, but that is not unusual for him. He's definitely a Toys R Us kind of guy.
DC Tom Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Everything with this guy is a knee jerk reaction. But everyone else governs on emotion. Irony is pretty ironical sometimes.
IDBillzFan Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I don't know why you guys put up with that progressive nutbag running your state. Oh. Wait. Nevermind.
Azalin Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 What? And deprive us of the pleasure of the upcoming VWR vs Gatorman cage match? How would that work - the winner is the one who figures out how to open the cage? He's definitely a Toys R Us kind of guy. At least he's gainfully employed and not on the public dole.
Dante Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Well this is what happens when we have a lawless prez. Cumo is just following his fearless leader. Since even the highest people don't have to follow law why should any of us? Lets start the lawlessness by refusing to pay taxes.
