Marv's Neighbor
my advice is to get an early start on your WNY trip Not so fast! The Buffalo region is situated on a significant fault line, known as the Clarendon-Linden Fault System. This seismic zone runs from Lake Ontario southward to Rushford Lake in Allegany County, cutting west of Rochester and through such Genesee and Wyoming County towns as Batavia, Linden, Attica, Dale, and Pike. Nowhere to run??

/dev/null
The easiest solution is for California to rename the Hayward Fault after the 43rd President. Then it's Bush's Fault
The Poojer
I seriously hope that once you hit post, you stood up, pretended to drop the microphone and exit the stage....it was worthy of that kind of gesture! The easiest solution is for California to rename the Hayward Fault after the 43rd President. BuffaloBill
Still here. Waiting................. Just drop a few dishes on the floor and leave your cabinet doors ajar. You can pretend that it happened. The alternative would be to make love to your wife and hope that you might shake up her world....

The alternative would be to make love to your wife and hope that you might shake up her world.... I had someone tell me after the Northridge quake (last big shaker in SoCal) that they "lost" all their dishes in the cabinet. Couldn't for the life of them find where they went. Then the opened their oven and there they were. The quake shook there cabinet door above the oven open as well as the oven door. The plates fell out into the oven and the oven door closed. It's crazy what happens during those things. I was actually in WNY that day for the Bills-Raiders playoff game. Not the 51-3 blowout the super cold one. My wife called me at 8am that morning. Seeing it was only 5am in California I was wondering why she called. As we were on the phone I turned on CNN to see the 10 freeway laying on La Cienega Blvd. That's when I knew it was a big one. Chef Jim
Do you bother with earthquake insurance? We do and now that I think about it I'm not sure why. I'll take his fois gras Not breakable. Can you send me your drums? Nope they'll survive and give me something to do while we rebuild. I want the wok and the Egg. You can have the wok seeing we don't use it. Sorry about the Egg though. We'll need that seeing we'll have now gas or electric and will need it to cook on.
