Beerball Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 FWIW--Mort was on local ESPN yesterday and he was asked about Vinny heading back to NY. He thoutht that was very plausible. Vinny still has a home there and the new OC is expected to install an offense that would suit Vinny should be be called on to play. The next question from the boys here in Dallas was....what about Bledsoe? Mort said that he thought Bledsoe would be a better alternative than Vinny, citing his age and arm strength. Mort indicated that the c-pukes have reservations about Henson, and they don't have much invested in him... The thought is that if DB is released the boys may come calling. No talk of trade. Cleveland was also brought up as a possibility for DB in another conversation. Just grist for the mill.
