zow2 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 There's going to be one overriding theme to all these types of situations going forward.. Terry Pegula will employ you and treat you extremely well as a member of his "family". However, if you use poor judgement and/or bring negative attention to his franchises, it's over. I suspect right or wrong, Kromer is done here.
boyst Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Ok, I'm just going to say this: If it wasn't our team, we'd be fully supportive of firing Kromer or suspending him premptively. Because he's not, I want to see how this plays out. He certainly should have some kind of punishment and nowhere does he deny that he hit a minor. It seems like he caught a couple of kids messing with his stuff and lost him temper. The law is specific about that. If the price the league has to pay for punishing the Greg Hardy and Ray Rice offenders properly is that a position coach of ours gets swept up I'll deal with it. But I really, really doubt that anything goes far criminally. You are often allowed to use non-lethal force to stop people from taking your property. Realistically, a first offender on a misdemeanor who takes a plea would pay a fine and get probation/community service. The "I'll kill your family if you talk" does sound like an embellishment a pissed off couple of teenagers would tack on to be taken seriously. stopped reading after you put thecollective we Many of us here do not fall in to that "we" because mmany of us believe in due process.

Mr. WEO Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 He made Jay Cutler cry. I'd give him a job just based on that, though. Well, big tough Kromer couldn't criticize Cutler to his face (he asked Rappaport to quote him anonymously), but it's good to see he can beat some kid up over a beach chair. Pegula's axe is hovering over this guy's neck right now.

OldTimer1960 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Is there any qualified good NFL OL coach available to fill this soon-to-be-vacancy?

Momma Pecoraro Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 The Pegula family hired a guy who groped a womans genitalia with a golf club at a NFL team sponsored event. This is ain't no thang. #Famfirst
YoloinOhio Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 @caplannfl: Spoke to coaching source who said Bills asst OL Kurt Anderson is very highly regarded, which is one of the reasons he was retained by Rex.
Mr. WEO Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I'm sure Kromer criticized Cutler to his face many times. Yelling at him after bad plays is one thing. For a QBs own Offensive Coordinator to crap on him anonymously to the press is another. Why would we want this guy here, coaching the Bills if this is how he reacts to bad plays? And for the record, it was KROMER who "tearfully apologized" to the team afterwards.
LeviF Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Pegula's axe is hovering over this guy's neck right now. Rightly or wrongly, I don't doubt that at this point.
Mr. WEO Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) Looks like Kromer is floating the "it was too dark to see" defense. http://larrybrownsports.com/football/aaron-kromer-kids-threatened-dark-out/267127 His lawyer must be Jackie Chiles... Edited July 13, 2015 by Mr. WEO
The Wiz Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Smack My B word Up.This song was just playing on someone's iPod as I read it. So weird.
bonechiller Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 yeah, not much here, too dark? http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/bills-o-line-coach-claims-self-defense-kids-threatened-him/ar-AAcUGNa

As I've said, I can only assume he thought Rapoport wouldn't use the story. Which was dumb admittedly. I doubt he ran to Rapoport so as to reveal it to the world.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Yeah I agree that he is probably done here in Buffalo CBF

Or the guy who tried to spin "deflate" as "losing weight." Although this is infinitely more plausible than that excuse was. Edited July 13, 2015 by Doc
