I've heard from sources, those same witvhin the franchise that gave me the EJ lead and moving up for Sammy - the team is quietly trying to see what, if any interest exists for EJ - if the season started tomorrow, it's Tyrod, Cassel and SIMMs right now... Granted, it's August 2nd, but perception is reality, EJ isn't making the grade. They love the intangibles, but he is not consistent enough to be considered an NFL starter.

From what I'm hearing about Tyrod i hope thats not the case. He can run but i question his arm. They say he isn't throwing the ball with zip and his deep ball is not that great. If thats the three man line up we may as well keep all the RBs because they will be running the ball A LOT

IF the Bills cut EJ, would Bellyache sign him?

understood, but w/o watching I, you, we don't actually know if it is the QB is off or the Rcvr ran the wrong route, or slipped or got blocked and the timing was off.

I think we do know.

We dump EJ for a 6th or 7th at best, btw great first round pick Doug, (note Geno has not thrown an INT in all of training camp).

Cassel flat out stinks so we cut him before the season starts.

We go with Tyrod and Simms as our two QBs to start the season.

The winner of our QB competition is NE, NYJ and MIA.

I think I am going to throw up.

Get me a bucket

I don't doubt Kiper after he called the Sammy trade pretty much straight up. I also think Leroi has good info but sometimes it's hard to figure what is his opinion vs. what his real insight. But if you take both together, and look at what we have seen so far, it wouldn't shock me to see EJ traded. I like him a lot and am still pulling for him, but this is a business. If he can't help them win, they need to move on. And I've always said, a good GM knows when to move on and doesn't hang on to a player just because he was a top pick, big time FA signing, etc. Winning is the bottom line.

OK, let's take a big step back off the ledge people. Day 3 of camp. Really? Really?

Regardless of how good people's hot tips are, call me when a serious journalist posts something that I will halfway believe. Because most of what I'm seeing is reactionary BS.

That's where I am at as well.

Just win, if they think EJ can't get it done the unfortunately it's time to move on.

I think that is fair. He certainly is the most talked about. I guess that my point is I don't think that the media are out to get him. They are reporting what they are seeing.

Thats about right. I think they are reporting what they think EVERYONE is watching. I honestly can say i dont care about McCoy, Clay, Harvin, anyone else but the QB slots. All we need is a decent QB just someone who can throw a slant. Hand the ball off. Just do the bare minimum. We have 1 TE 4 WRs 4 RBs who can ALL make a short play something special.

This is the perfect offense for a young guy to get his footing. Its just the silly mistakes: fumbling, late reads, hesitation, that are gonna kill him... or any of them.

In EJs case... He said he was gonna let it rip. On day 2 now 3 I expect ints. I expect quick decisions i expect some risk taking. Show some killer instinct. You win some you lose some. And you come back and get em next play. He isn't doing that. Thats my major beef. I want him to win just because of the person he is. But i want the team to make a good choice for the sake of keeping Woods Watkins potentially Harvin and any other player you look to bring on board over the next few years. Skill players are going to play with the best qbs they can.

Im just waiting for the tweet that says John Miller has been named RG starter.

I think that one goes to the end of TC. Kujo is getting plenty of 1st team reps and drawing REX-praise.

Also, reading between the OLines -as it were, I think it's telling that Wood HASN'T been declared starting center. Appears he got abused today and he's coming off his worst year of play, IMO.

I doubt it.

I doubt that too. But I can picture some ugly scenes from the wide receivers. At some point, one or more of them are going to get vocal about the crappy QB play.

I was feeling pumped for the season until Training Camp started...

Sounds like its gonna be another year of being pathetic on one side of the ball, and good on the other. Yay.

That's one of my fears as well. Woods has always been vocal for one (not to mention Harvin).

Serious question... why is EJ the one we get rid of if all three suck equally (from the sounds of it) so far? Is it just because Tyrod is "Rex's guy" and Cassel is a vet? Or is there a financial gain to be had?
