Good article related to this topic. Yes, it's bleacher report, but it's written by Mike Freeman, who is an outstanding writer. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2486218-banned-but-bountiful-marijuana-coveted-by-nfl-players-as-invaluable-painkiller

The players interviewed, as well as several assistant coaches, said they believe the NFL and union have a "wink-wink type deal," as one player put it, where both sides actually don't want tougher marijuana testing because they believe so many players would flunk tests. (The NFL and union deny any type of secret arrangement.)

"If you tested the players during the season every week," one assistant coach said, "we wouldn't be able to field a league. We'd have to merge with the CFL."

I'll never understand why weed is illegal.

Because crooked politicians, law enforcement, etc wouldn't need to be paid off if it wasn't illegal and we wouldn't want that would we

Oops.

Although driving 143 mph with a 12 year old kid in the car, who probably was not yours considering you're 24, a loaded handgun and odor of marijuana, doesn't seem so bad, does it?

I guess if you're not getting away from them at 143 it's not going to happen soon or end well. Poor Shellie.

If it was legal it wouldn't compound the punishment. That's scary to think about....

Is it though? And yes it would - you can't "smoke and drive" in states where it's legal.

Just plain WOW to Richardson, bad, bad, bad choices...
