Kelly the Dog Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Yes of course I think EJ Manuel has a better chance of being successful in this league than Tim Tebow. Obviously I was being sarcastic. But I do think it's OK to have opinions on a QB after 14 games, that was more my point. It's okay to have opinions on guys when they play 0 games or 2 or 7 or 10 or 14. Definitive opinions, barring fatal flaws, not so much. A rag arm for example. I don't care how many games Colt McCoy or Kellen Moore play they will never be good because of the rag arm.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Those are not fair comparisons. 90-95% of football people think that Tebow has a single fatal flaw. It's enormous and no one in the history of the league has been able to overcome it. No one thinks EJ has a fatal flaw, they just don't think he has the total package needed to be successful over time as a starting NFL QB. would that fatal flaw be passing on target?
Kelly the Dog Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 would that fatal flaw be passing on target? Not really. It would actually be his passing motion/fundamentals, which often causes him to be unable to pass on target, but also causes a lot of other stuff to go wrong.
