Thank you. I don't root for any team below the Mason Dixon line.

I dont root for any team, anywhere, except the Sabres.

That being said, i love watching games from Winnipeg, great fans and a fun team to watch, and will be watching their games and somewhat rooting for them to go far.

If Chad Johnson is in fact coming to us for Neuvirth, he better wear #85.

To the Isle for Johnson and a 3rd

This season with the Islanders, Johnson is 8-8-1 with a 3.08 goals against and an .889 save percentage. One year left on his contract.

With the number of shots the Sabres give up per game, that will work!

Plus Hackett for at least 7.

Mike Harrington @BNHarrington

Surreal scene as #Sabres players eating at outdoor patio watching Neuvirth highlights on TV -- as he sits 30 feet away talking to SN.

John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl

The Sabres' Tim Murray is still working with "several teams" on Chris Stewart.

Mitchell to Montreal as well...

Stewart to Pens?

Minnesota acquires Chris Stewart...For a 2017 second round pick, Sabres to pick up half of Stewart's salary.

I'm stealing this from Twitter but it's post-worthy:

Sabres commit to new goaltender for remainder of the season:

Neither do the people who live below the Mason Dixon line. That crowd on Saturday was pathetic!

That's why I don't root. There are very few actual fans of those teams. The few true fans I feel sorry for. Every time I watch a Sabres game on TV in the South, the arena is half full, and mostly Sabres fans making that up.
