ChevyVanMiller Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Excellent, and still a loss to remain 6 pts "ahead" with 26 to play... It was touch and go there for awhile. Philly must have hit 5 posts. 26 games to go.
Alaska Darin Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 who do you think is next? I think they'd trade Hodgson for a water pail with a hole in it.
bbb Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Bogosian looked tremendous last night. In case anybody didn't see this the other day, he's glad to be "home": http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/bucky-gleason/for-newcomer-bogosian-buffalo-feels-like-home-20150212
eball Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Woo hoo! The Oil with at least a point in Winnipeg. OT
zevo Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Edm cashing in on at least 1 pt against a tough Winnipeg team at home....had the lead late
eball Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) Myers with a goal for the Jets, Stafford already hurt. Going to shootout. Ahh crap. Jets win. But a point! Sabres now 7 up. Edited February 17, 2015 by eball
zevo Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I'll take that point and run the hell outta there...Winnipeg may be the most difficult place to play on the road
ChevyVanMiller Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Concerned about the injury to Farth in the shootout. Didn't look good, Edmonton now down to 3rd string goalie.
eball Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Concerned about the injury to Farth in the shootout. Didn't look good, Edmonton now down to 3rd string goalie. Yeah, totally looked like a twisted knee. Could be nothing, could be season-ending.
bbb Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Bucky Gleason interviewed Mike Eruzione about a Miracle reunion coming up. Mike works for BU now, and talked about Eichel. The alarming part is he said he's crossing his fingers that Eichel will still one more year. What are the chances of this? http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/mike-harrington/eruzione-still-living-the-miracle-20150216
Alaska Darin Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Doesn't matter if he stays in college, he's draft eligible so the Sabres can draft him and retain the right to sign him until he graduates. It's not like the NFL, which is good in some ways and bad in others.
bbb Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 You'd think Bucky would mention that! Idiot. I had wondered that before, and then when it was in this article, I was like Oh, man - this would be the worst!
QCity Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Well, we don't have to worry about winning anymore shootouts with Neuvirth in net. Otherwise, he had a solid game.

ChevyVanMiller Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Doesn't he suck anyway? He wasn't the greatest, but he did get them some points over the past week. Good news is that Scrivens will be back for the game against Boston tonight.
bbb Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 He's a BU employee, so of course he wants Eichel to stay. That's not the point. The point was that all this could be for nothing, if Eichel did stay. But, Alaska Darin cleared that up - unlike Bucky.
