Kassian is pretty much the same as he was in Buffalo. He shows flashes of being really good, but is not consistent. He is terrible on D, he is big and physical, but commits a lot of dumb penalties. He is the topic of trade rumors every year, including this article in which they thought he might be dealt for picks before or during the entry draft:

He was also out half of last season with a back injury...

Looks like we'll be seeing Kassian a bit more this season...

@BuffNewsVogl

Jack Eichel is wasting no time becoming part of Buffalo. New Sabre will visit kids at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/07/02/sabres-eichel-will-visit-kids-in-roswell-park-cancer-institute/

Tim Murray has gotten to know Jack Eichel pretty well. Sabres' GM says the newly signed pro is the genuine article. http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/07/01/murray-introduces-eichel-i-believe-that-hes-legit/

Legwand will wear #17 and would consider letting Eichel live with him and his family.

That's just what I would want to do as an 18 yr old that just signed a $2.7M contract - move in with a married 34 yr old with his wife and kids.

Yeah, but if you're a Sabres fan, that's exactly what you want.
