Uffalo Ills Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) Here he is in pass protection (#79): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sgesBzapYg I'd rather have #86 (Who is #86 by the way?). He seems very solid is Pass protect. Edit: #86 is Sam Cooper a TE. Hmm Edited July 9, 2015 by Uffalo Ills
YoloinOhio Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 I think if the Bills bid a 4th they would probably get him. (If they bid at all) I think if they bid a 5th round pick they might lose out to another team CBF the Canadian Nostradamus
BillsFanThru-N-Thru Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 per Adam Schefter ... Former Clemson OT Isaiah Battle goes in 5th round of NFL Supplemental draft to...St. Louis Rams.
YoloinOhio Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 @MoveTheSticks: Battle was the only player selected
Canadian Bills Fan Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Wonder when we will find out if the Bills made a bid CBF
ALF Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The Bills should have at least drafted La el Collins . Roger would cut us some slack being from Jamestown.
YoloinOhio Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) STL already took 4 OLs in 2015 draft Edited July 9, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Lurker Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 STL already took 4 OLs in 2015 draft He's got practice squad written all over him....
BuffaloHokie13 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 He's got practice squad written all over him.... Would that require him to pass through waivers, like Dez Lewis for us? Or are circumstances different for supplemental draft picks?
Kelly the Dog Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Would that require him to pass through waivers, like Dez Lewis for us? Or are circumstances different for supplemental draft picks? He would have to pass through waivers. But teams aren't likely to open a 53 roster spot for him if he was released. It's possible but they would likely take that risk. Especially because they already drafted three tackles.

It's possible but they would likely take that risk. Especially because they already drafted three tackles. This would be a gamble as they would allow the other teams to put a waiver claim on him and if he passed through that portion he would be essentially a Rookie Free Agent and allowed to sign on any team's practice squad... But still surprised they invested a pick (even if it was a 5th) on another OL after drafting 4 this past year.

If he wasn't going to sign to their PS they probably wouldn't want him anyway. It's really a strange situation after drafting Robinson and then 4 more and then Battle. At least one of the tackles is playing OG now. They probably have Battle rated significantly higher than the #6 T they took so he might be the guy they cut and put on the PS. I'm just saying I doubt a team would sign him to their 53 without having a chance to see what he can do.

Totally agree on that one....especially since not many spare OL are kept on the 53 in the first place..
Uffalo Ills Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Well that's that, I guess. Unless we get to pick him up off of wavers.
Jamie Nails Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Wonder if we'll give any of the other undrafted supplemental dudes a sniff? Perhaps the DE? It's a sneaky depth need.
Lurker Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Would that require him to pass through waivers, like Dez Lewis for us? Or are circumstances different for supplemental draft picks? You'd have to sign him to the active roster, which sounds like a real reach given how raw he is right now...

BarleyNY Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Wonder when we will find out if the Bills made a bid CBF That will be telling.
NoSaint Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 That will be telling. What would you really take away from a 6th or 7th round claim?
