Guffalo Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I would like to start my first fall doing a "Kenny season" and go to all Bills games home and away, then settle in for some woodworking, golf, maybe volunteer work with local animal shelters.
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I am pretty much going to just go on cruises non-stop. Then check this out: http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424127887323297504578579753126719938

Chandler#81 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 PLAYING guitar & model railroading. I have a full '57 Lionel set, multiple HO sets and a couple N seats with a whole city of buildings, people, working streetlights, signs, the works. Been collecting them through the years and all are boxed/crated up. Someday...
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Oh yeah I forgot gardening. Gardening, cooking, mead making, collecting music.
Azalin Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Yep. Working on a Gibson SG right now - a kit, but the body was so poorly machined that I have to make a new one (too much slop between the neck and body - the joint will never handle the stress.) Well then, please let me know if you ever think you might try making something like a 24 fret Stratocaster. I've always wanted one of those.

Working on a Gibson SG right now - a kit, but the body was so poorly machined that I have to make a new one (too much slop between the neck and body - the joint will never handle the stress.) This is awesome. I know it's nowhere close to building something like an SG (one of my favorites because of the skinnier neck), but I want to build an electric cigar box guitar. Would love to tackle it beginning in the fall.
Rob's House Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Arguing with nerds on the internet about football and politics.

Marv's Neighbor Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 All these are good ideas, but the biggest consideration in retirement is $$$. Without that, you're back to whittl'in, and talking to animals.

Jon in Pasadena Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Pretty sure retirement is not in my future.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I have to work for 28 more years to collect my full pension. Uggh. When I retire I plan on eating soft foods, complaining about the squirrels in my backyard, and take frequent naps.
plenzmd1 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 New contract. 15.9 added to pension and a Vrip in February. What's a vrip?
Johnny Hammersticks Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 What's a vrip? It's a virtual trip (vacation). Like in the movie Total Recall.
