Maybe Someday
Seems to be a somewhat talented player but had some demons to battle and never reached his max potential. Now that he is sober and motivated to resume his career, is he worth adding into the mix? I say why not, you can never have too much competition. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000497531/article/report-exbroncos-guard-john-moffitt-to-return-to-nfl

If you have so many people you are trying to evaluate that you're unable to properly assess the players then you can certainly have too much competition. The Dean
That's not really true. If you have so many people you are trying to evaluate that you're unable to properly assess the players then you can certainly have too much competition. Well, that might be true to some extent. But the roster has a limit and typically you only have so many guys at each position. So if there is a problem of "too much competition" exists, it exists pretty much all the time, at this time of the year. There really is no downside (other than the possible cap implications) to bringing in guys with more talent to replace guys with less talent (all other things being equal). That is not an endorsement for bringing in Moffitt. I really have no idea if he is the right fit for this team, or if he has any interest in joining the Bills. C.Biscuit97
Vet minimum, no signing bonus, sure. Extremely rare that a guy steps away from football for a year and can even make a roster. Guys get old fast in the NFL, especially when they aren't playing.

Rob's House
He quit on his team mid-season. I'd have to be pretty hard up to waste a roster spot on him.
section122
He quit on his team mid-season. I'd have to be pretty hard up to waste a roster spot on him. I'd also be concerned about how many guys with issues were on the team. Incognito has had his battle with substances as has Seantrel. Adding another to the mix would at least be concerning to me. Dragonborn10
We are still !@#$ed at RG. And that assumes Miller wins the LG spot. I have no faith in Incognito, Williams, or Richardson. Mathis is better than all of them.
