All-time team QB rankings: Who's No. 1? No. 32?

Which NFL franchise boasts the strongest tradition at QB? Elliot Harrison provides his pecking order. The 49ers earn a lofty ranking, thanks to Steve Young and Joe Montana, but they're not No. 1.

Interesting Topic!

17) Bills: Jim Kelly, Joe Ferguson, Jack Kemp

Kelly was a first-ballot Hall of Famer, a fitting tribute to an 11-year run in Buffalo that saw eight playoff berths and four Super Bowl appearances. Ferguson started 12 seasons for the Bills, including consecutive playoff campaigns in 1980 and '81. He owned virtually all of the team's passing records until Kelly broke them. Kemp, who went on to become a U.S. Congressman, piloted the Bills' 1964 and '65 title squads.

When Kemp is No. 3, you know quality QBs have been scarce in Buffalo. And I say that despite loving Kemp for bringing Buffalo its two titles. I still have an autographed picture of Jack from the mid-60s.

I do think that the Giants and Browns are a tad overrated on that list.

Also, I still don't understand the reverence for Troy Aikman 25 years later. He really wasn't as good as reputation. He was a caretaker QB that only threw more than 20 TD's in a season once.
