judman Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I turned to another station today when "Wanted, Dead or Alive" came on. The responde is still automatic when I hear that band. I was never a huge fan of theirs anyway. But I don't HATE them like I once did a year ago. Just curious where others stood. I suppose I have moved on.
Kirby Jackson Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I didn't hate them a year ago b/c I know that they couldn't afford the team. I hated him b/c he is a terrible musician.
Juice_32 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I hated him before, during and after his pursuit of the Bills. So yes.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Yep I still have a Bon Jovi-free zone around me at all times
Jerry Jabber Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I hated him before, during and after his pursuit of the Bills. So yes. +1
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I actually just had this conversation with my girlfriend last night, explaining the dislike for him. So yes, I still will not listen.
White Linen Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 (edited) I used to do this kind of stuff - until one day when a very good friend of our family said he wasn't ever watching another movie by a certain actor because of his political view. Â He was actually hurting himself because the actor was always putting out excellent movies. Â So I just told him think of yourself as the King and the actor as the court gesture. You pay him $10 dollars and basically are telling him "entertain me - make me laugh - no wait cry so I feel sad". He laughed hysterically and continued to go to his movies feeling like a King until he passed a couple of years ago. Edited June 14, 2015 by Triple Threat
JohnnyK Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Bon Jovi rocks...just not as an owner of the bills!!!! my I-pod is again free to shuffle without worry!!!
KD in CA Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 No change here. I've hated his crappy music since the 80s.
PromoTheRobot Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I really never liked him...ever. The Bills thing just cinched it.
Augie Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I never did listen, so I'm not about to start. I'm just glad things turned out the way they did, and maybe some of the names thrown into the ring (Trump? Really?) just make the outcome seem that much better. It's all in the past so now I can go about ignoring he exists.
Ted William's frozen head Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I turned to another station today when "Wanted, Dead or Alive" came on. The responde is still automatic when I hear that band. I was never a huge fan of theirs anyway. But I don't HATE them like I once did a year ago. Just curious where others stood. I suppose I have moved on. I have great respect for a man who managed to parlay a body of incredibly putrid music into a sizable fortune....
Cugalabanza Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 !@#$ him and the steel horse he rode in on.
sodbuster Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I used to do this kind of stuff - until one day when a very good friend of our family said he wasn't ever watching another movie by a certain actor because of his political view. Â He was actually hurting himself because the actor was always putting out excellent movies. Â Yeah, but in your example, the actor is putting out GOOD movies...
Talley56 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Love Bon Jovi's songs. His pursuit of the Bills and alleged plan to move them didn't change that. But I must admit I now cringe a little bit when the songs come on.
