duey Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Word from the Jets is that Abraham has been tagged. As a result, expectations are that Lamont Jordan is gone. They should have traded him to Philly last training camp when they had the chance. Of course, tagging Abraham also gives the Jets the opportunity to now trade him.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Don't the Jets have enough money to keep Jordan? And it's not like they were going to franchise Jordan.

BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Makes Travis' value dip even lower since now teams can just sign the highly valued Jordan instead of trading with us. Sheesh, Edge...Shaun Alexander...Rudi Johnson...Lamont Jordon...not to mention the stud RBs in the draft, this is not a good year to trade Travis.

Whether he can handle the starting role for 16 games has yet to be proven.

First off, Edge and Alexander stand a good chance of being franchised and Johnson stands a good chance of being transitioned. Jordan as has been said shows promise but has proven NOTHING yet. And if Edge and Alexander don't get franchised by the Colts and Seahags respectively, those teams will then need RB's.
