WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 This sums up the value that I see in Goodwin. I don't see this team surgically picking teams apart with a controlled passing game. They are going to have to make some big plays in the passing game. Fortunately they have some guys that can be dangerous with the ball in their hands (Watkins, Harvin, McCoy). I agree about us not surgically passing the ball. The deep threat is going to be necessary to make sure other teams don't pack the box.
YoloinOhio Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) @SalSports: Chris Hogan is such a good route runner. Very precise. #NotBreakingNews @john_wawrow: Still can't understand how EJ hesitates on 7-on-7 drills. @mikerodak: Matt Simms slow, slow, slow to get the ball out in 7-on-7s. Broken up by Tarpley, Cockrell and Gaines on his only 3 reps. @SalSports: Jimmy Gaines got beat badly by MarQueis Gray on out and up. Cassel found him for TD. Donnie Henderson was not happy. RE: EJ @SalSports: @ChrisTrapasso Seems to be seeing field well. But much easier with no live pass rush. Short-armed a couple outs again earlier. @SalSports: Twice in a row Tyrod Taylor has worked the middle of the field in 7/7 red zone work for a nice touchdown pass. Edited June 16, 2015 by YoloinOhio

26CornerBlitz Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) @viccarucci Andre Reed, one of the #Bills' Walsh Coaching Fellowship interns, at minicamp practice. @MarkLud12 Cassel still with some throws that make you shake your head, but he's had a couple good ones today as well. #Bills Edited June 16, 2015 by 26CornerBlitz
YoloinOhio Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) Uh ohhhhh@mikerodak: Strong showing from Tyrod Taylor with 1st team so far today: 11-on-11: 2-4 7-on-7: 4-4 Red zone 7-on-7: 3-3, 2 TDs @mikerodak: Few bad overthrows from Matt Cassel today, but otherwise pretty good: 11-on-11: 4-7, 1 TD 7-7: 3-5, 1 TD Red zone 7-7: 1-2, 1 TD Wonder who he overthrew? Arm strength must be good because our WR are fast Edited June 16, 2015 by YoloinOhio
BuffaloHokie13 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 @mikerodak: Strong showing from Tyrod Taylor with 1st team so far today: 11-on-11: 2-4 7-on-7: 4-4 Red zone 7-on-7: 3-3, 2 TDs WGR talked to RavensInsider today about Tyrod too. It seems to be an honest, even keel take.
GG Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 @john_wawrow: Still can't understand how EJ hesitates on 7-on-7 drills. Oh oh, deja vu from '14 minicamp
YoloinOhio Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Oh oh, deja vu from '14 minicamp my thought as well !!!! He's not blocking on the screen! @mikerodak: Sammy Watkins taking reps in 11 on 11s for the first time we've seen. Catching screen from Taylor. @SalSports: Nick O'Leary just made a nice one-handed grab heading to sideline. As usual, the TEs get a lot of rotation
eball Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 A Sammy sighting in 11-on11 work -- that's great news
YoloinOhio Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 @SalSports: Tyrod Taylor is having a good day. Ross Cockrell is not. @mikerodak: EJ Manuel getting on the action. OL handles double A-gap blitz and hits Easley in stride down sideline over Brooks, Rambo @SalSports: EJ threads ball between 2 DB down sideline on almost all-out blitz to Easley for TD. Next play short to Hogan who makes catch off tip for TD @john_wawrow: EJ great pass up left sideline to Marquis. Then throws behind Hogan, but Hogan makes great tip to make catch.
John from Riverside Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 OMG.....are QBs actually looking.........good?

BuffaloHokie13 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Mike Rodak @mikerodak 4m4 minutes ago Tyrod Taylor finishes 12 for 14. Cassel goes 10-for-17. Split first team reps today.
26CornerBlitz Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 @SalSports Practice is done for today. We will hear from Coach Rex Ryan and some players, then look for notes later. #Bills
26CornerBlitz Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 @MatthewFairburn Rex Ryan is hoping to see his team eliminate obvious mistakes. He didn't see that today. Rex Ryan also said the Bills expect CB Leodis McKelvin back at full speed for training camp.
26CornerBlitz Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 @buffalobills Line 'em up. #BillsMinicamp Who will be starting September 13th? Q: Expectations are high... Rex: "And they should be! Great football team and some pretty great coaches." Rex on the QB competition: "There won't be any separation between the QBs until the pads come on." Come #BillsCamp, it's on.
PromoTheRobot Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 We have 4 QB's but we don't have 4 centers, so who's snapping the ball to the other guys?
YattaOkasan Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 We have 4 QB's but we don't have 4 centers, so who's snapping the ball to the other guys? Best guess is Wood Urbik Incognito Miller (in the far background?)
