eball Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 How do you discern him making himself out to be some "sort of player evaluation expert" and some reporter providing his opinion? After all, that is his job. Perhaps, but his weekly "grading" of players a la PFF led me to the conclusion he somehow thinks he knows more than everyone else.
YoloinOhio Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Perhaps, but his weekly "grading" of players a la PFF led me to the conclusion he somehow thinks he knows more than everyone else. his condescending tone when he used to be on WGR always turned me off. It was highly annoying.

No completions in about 10 drop backs from all the QBs. #Bills Joe Buscaglia @JoeBuscaglia 29s30 seconds ago Sacks, penalties, a drop, and an interception. The DL owned the OL. #Bills
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Sal Capaccio @SalSports 1m1 minute ago Sammy Watkins is getting work with first team offense (not against D right now). And he's been a target of several screens. #Bills. Wait, Sammy can be used on screens? Someone tell Doug Marrone!
YoloinOhio Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Wait, Sammy can be used on screens? Someone tell Doug Marrone! 3 screens all of 2014. Really? The best DL in the league owned an OL? I, for one, am shocked.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Rex doesn't like when the offense does well, even his own. So he put them in their place today.

Jerry Jabber Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Mike Rodak @mikerodak 3m3 minutes ago First 11-on-11 today: Taylor: pbu, pbu Cassel: DPI, offensive hold, Goodwin drop Manuel: sack, Thompson drop, Mario Butler INT Sal Capaccio @SalSports 3m3 minutes ago QBs didn't have a very good 11/11 showing. But much better so for in 7/7. #Bills
Jerry Jabber Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Mike Rodak @mikerodak now Taylor, Cassel and Manuel went a combined 11 for 11 in the first 7-on-7. Life is easier without a pass rush.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 3 screens all of 2014. GTFO Joe. Really? The best DL in the league owned an OL? I, for one, am shocked. I know...some of the best screen playmakers and nada
thebandit27 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I love that the DL goes nuts in practice. I want these QBs to face hell in practice, since there's not a team on the schedule that'll bring that type of pressure this season.

Jerry Jabber Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Sal Capaccio @SalSports 34s35 seconds ago EJ just has his best pass of day. Fade right over top of DB to Gray on sideline. Very nice. Maybe a ball he doesn't throw first two years.
NoSaint Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 But as we've seen in the past, it could also tire our defense out when we go three and out 5 possessions in a row. to be fair thats bad for any defense, even if we hold the ball the extra 45 seconds of real time each possession.

Maybe a ball he doesn't throw first two years. Touch passing has NEVER been an issue for EJ. Confidence, trusting his reads, and lower body mechanics will be the keys IMO

"Marquis Gray makes phenomenal catch on overthrown ball by EJ who's been erratic and inconsistent all day... unlike yesterday when he was just inconsistent and seemingly confused." joeb
