ALF Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Checking the fingerprints on the steering wheel might give a clue.
Beef Jerky Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Fun to see bad things happen to a guy I didn't want the Bills to resign. Good job Whaley now he is the Patriots problem... He will probably be released today.
The Avenger Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 On the 11th news in Boston last night Anthony Miller reported the story, pointing out that although Spikes currently plays for the Patriots, last season he played for "the underrated and frankly, under appreciated Buffalo Bills". I stopped and re watched to make sure I had heard that correctly, then looked up Anthony Miller on Google - a Buffalo native. Score one for us.

nucci Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 There are now two people reporting it, you and I. That kinda makes it true. Plus it's on the internet so........
mitchmurraydowntown Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 How do you explain crashing a $400,000 car & leaving it ?? I crashed a grand am & held on tight, to the steering wheel.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) Where the !@#$ do you live & WTF do they give deers a drivers license? Did they at least have insurance? I live in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the northern tip of Virginia. 15 miles to the nearest "city". I moved here in 2009 and in 2 years time hit 2 deer . I have also missed collisions with at least a 50 more in the last 6 years. Practice makes perfect. Â Early morning last year on trip to the airport at 4 AM I had to slam on the breaks 3 freaking times in 5 miles doing 55 MPH. Edited June 8, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
Hapless Bills Fan Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 @ProFootballTalk: Cops have reached out to Brandon Spikes, but no charges filed yet http://t.co/q9Yirj8wSn  Reached out? Give me a break, if he weren't a wealthy dude the only way they would have "reached out" to him would have been with a pair of steel bracelets on the reaching hand
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 did you abandon your car? Doubt it. Whether he indeed hit a deer and it was removed or hit another vehicle, fleeing the scene at 3:30 am probably means he had alcohol in his system or something else he didn't want to be discovered by the police. But what do I know, I'm an idiot. hell no. Kept on driving both times. $2,000 damage each accident. Â My insurance co had no problem with the claims and no $ increase in my policy!
Doc Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I'll wait until there is more info. But like with other cases, not talking to the cops is his best play right now.
K D Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 it will be curious when they find no deer guts on the car but another car's paint on the front bumper
YoloinOhio Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 @AdamSchefter: Patriots released LB Brandon Spikes, per source. Wasted no time....
Kirby Jackson Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 This is going to come across as awful but I did not want Spikes to go back to the Pats. I had grown to like him as a person. It is a sad situation that occurred over the weekend and hopefully he can get his life back in line.
truth on hold Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 @AdamSchefter: Patriots released LB Brandon Spikes, per source. Wasted no time....Hate to hear that. Seemed like a cool guy and just landed on his feet again
boyst Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Now that he's already got guaranteed money maybe he will sign cheaper somewhere else.
