wnysteel Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 started last 4 years for Redskins. We need o-line help. a fit? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12961185/washington-redskins-releasing-chris-chester
ko12010 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I'd be surprised if Whaley and co. didn't take a look.
Lurker Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 "But at 303 pounds, Chester is smaller than the current regime would prefer as it opts for a more power-based system."
ko12010 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 "But at 303 pounds, Chester is smaller than the current regime would prefer as it opts for a more power-based system." Our system may not necessarily be power-based given that Shady isn't a prototypical North-South runner.
VABills Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 No, skins had a much worse Oline than us. He was cut for a reason. He's terrible.
White Linen Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I think Whaley is happy where they're at on the o-line - both with the players that are competing to start and the money they are having to allocate. I don't think we'll see much action.
YoloinOhio Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I have no idea how good he is as its certainly possible he was released for cap reasons, but it shows he played in Baltimore his first 5 years. As he is 32, I think that would have overlapped with when Rex and Roman were there. So just curious if there is any connection at all.
