Sal set this preliminary depth chart going into OTAs, to figure out reps and rotations

Here is how I see the coaches setting up their CURRENT depth chart. This is NOT a projection of what the depth chart will look like in week one or even heading into training camp. And it's not necessarily what I would do at each position. It's an educated guess of how coaches will set it up heading into next week's first-round of OTAs based upon information gathered through the first two phases of offseason workouts and talking with coaches and front office personnel.

It will be very difficult to get down to 53 with that much talent.

The WR group is going to be very tough to cut imo especially with the rookie Dez Lewis's size. If he can polish his routes in TC, he could make the roster with his size. Edited by YoloinOhio

its tough to determine looking like that.

I think it would be better if he stratified players into 3 groups, like Locks, bubble, need to show something.

Sanborn doesn't have much competition.

I should've been a long snapper...

Funny, but, true!

I told my 11-year old nephews the other day that LS is the best path to the NFL.

That and back up kicker

I keep asking this question, because it really does play into final cuts: who is the backup long-snapper?

It used to be Lee Smith. Now that he's gone, suppose Sanborn gets hurt (a total possibility since he does cover punts); who snaps for FGs and punts?

Has Urbik done it? O'Leary maybe?

Anyone know?
