Buffaloed in Pa Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 This is someone who actually got use out of Aaron Maybin Just keep that in mind Not buying into Rexy or the staff until he has a better record than Moron Marrone and we make the play-offs. Been there done that. Yippee ,Hooray, Glitter.

Yippee ,Hooray, Glitter. You mean when they made it to the AFC championship twice? Or do we just thow out those years?
Buffaloed in Pa Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 You mean when they made it to the AFC championship twice? Or do we just thow out those years? For us. Not the J. E. T. S. I`ve seen this rah rah stuff for years now. Show me. Enuff with the smoke and mirrors.
BillnutinHouston Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 For us. Not the J. E. T. S. I`ve seen this rah rah stuff for years now. Show me. Enuff with the smoke and mirrors. Do you agree that it's extremely difficult for a coach to take the Bills to the playoffs in a year that he's not our coach? What do you want from the guy?
3rdand12 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I recall Powell getting some positive reviews pre Rex. But for once in a generation Bills were thick as thieves with Spikes and Kiko still in the fold. We really lucked into Brown being much more than thumper as expected. Knew he was football smart and would play a great Mike. But he has been better than i imagined and sooner too! Having Rex say good things about T Powell gives me a feel good after Kiko ( OLB) and Spikes (ILB) have gone on to seek new challenges. I think we have yet another year Bills being strong at True LBs. and if Steward can develop we have the next generation coming up. The defense is the strength of the team and should continue to be. The smartest thing Rex Whaley and Pegula did was give the Offense to Roman. Geez lordy its good to be a fan these days! The Stars Are About to Align my friends . it was just a matter of exceptional patience
FluffHead Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I remember the "TJ Graham primed for a bigger role in the offense" articles.. I remember when David Lee fixed Ole Fitzy's mechanics
BUFFALOKIE Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 57 is the mike! I asked the other day, and I am still unclear. Why is it necessary for to say "xx is the mike". He's the linebacker in the middle. What am I missing?
3rdnlng Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I asked the other day, and I am still unclear. Why is it necessary for to say "xx is the mike". He's the linebacker in the middle. What am I missing? An updated screen name?
3rdnlng Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 That was good! Thanks. I always enjoy your posts and miss your game day threads over at Sabre Space. What did you do, get a job or have a baby?
Big C Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 An updated screen name? Pwned. And the answer to that question is the infamous "43 is the Mike" game where ol' Tommy put up a 50 burger in part thanks Bryan Scott playing Mike backer.
BillsBytheBay Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I asked the other day, and I am still unclear. Why is it necessary for to say "xx is the mike". He's the linebacker in the middle. What am I missing?he is being facetious. It goes back to using Brian Scott as a linebacker.
BUFFALOKIE Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 An updated screen name? LOL. Your'e right! Happy now?
26CornerBlitz Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Ty Powell: Eyeing a Starting Role (9:08) Bills LB Ty Powell called in to The John Murphy Show to discuss his new role on the defense, his reaction to praise from head coach Rex Ryan, and why he's ready to compete for a starting spot. boyst Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I asked the other day, and I am still unclear. Why is it necessary for to say "xx is the mike". He's the linebacker in the middle. What am I missing?for all the blockers it helps clarify who is playing rhe MLB position, which is not that easy all of the time. It sets up who gets blocked how, say on a WHAM block or such. Plus it was an audible that game.
