DC Tom
I'm expecting 2 games. As long as it's not just one!! I'm hoping it stays 4. Just to watch the Pats fans go even further full-goose bozo. Honestly, the NFL hasn't entertained me this much in 15 years or so.
Gugny
Wrong IMO. The suspension, again IMO, has an appeal and step down built in. This is, to me, a 2 game suspension. Reducing the weeks gives the impression that the league is sympathetic and willing to listen and compromise with the players and their association. How can you state all of this as fact?!?! eball
I agree. I said a while ago 4 games to 2. Nearly all of these non-mandatory suspensions get knocked down. Even bountygate got reduce. In this case only footballs were getting flattened. And the player wouldn't cooperate. That's just as important.
Nanker
Wow...and I thought this board was full of drama queens. You've apparently never had the ethos And honor then... They go hand-in-hand, apparently.
plenzmd1
Listening to WEEI now. The hosts are saying Pats fans are embarrassing themselves with the vitriol being hurled at Kraft. So, not everyone in that city is an idiot. One theory they are throwing out is Godddel might have agreed to recuse himself appeal, that way if overturned or reduced, Goodell not accused of going easy on his buddy ...win win win for league , Pats and Goddell. Gugny
You're gonna win in spite of your height and all other odds being against you? No, I'm going to ride the coattails of a top 3 defense and a stellar running game ... and STILL not be able to get my offense into the endzone when it matters most. Kelly the Dog
If the NFL and Goodell have finally started the process to not being a sham, he stays at 4 games. If Goodell is still a sham he made a wink nod deal for Kraft stepping back when he didn't need to at all it gets cut to 2. If there is no deal, Brady may get one game taken off, although he shouldn't. There is no way they can reduce his games from the part that dealt with obstruction. It's a proven fact he lied, it's a proven fact he was not cooperative. There is no basis whatsoever for reducing that part of his suspension which from all indication was 2 of the 4 games. I think it stays at 4. There is a decent chance it goes to 3. Edited May 20, 2015 by Kelly the Dog
TheFunPolice
He won't miss any... It is too damaging to his legacy. If he misses ANY then he was suspended for cheating. He will go to court and get the suspension thrown out.

He will go to court and get the suspension thrown out. If he goes to court which I sincerely doubt, the judge will say you lied, you obstructed, they can punish you with whatever they want to, you can come here and say you were treated unfairly but you have zero case to get this thrown out that you were treated unfairly when you clearly lied and clearly did not totally cooperate. I don't think people realize what the court option is.
TSOL
I predict the appeal goes hysterically wrong, finds Brady even more guilty and the suspension goes to six games instead of four.
