dubs
you are right I'm sure whaley has no idea what the team needs Not saying that Whaley is clueless. Just doesn't seem to make sense to me.
Lurker
i dont see him beating out brown and williams, jmo Fred should have no problem beating out Williams as a RB. The question will be how much they value Karlos' ST abilities...
purple haze
3 RBs sounds like crazy talk. McCoy, Dixon, Felton, and Karlos are locks. Freddie gone? Boobie is more ST's though. Like Easley is a "WR".

billsfan89
Weird pick, not much to say as I have no idea where he fits on the roster.
Chuck Wagon
He "was" a safety, he might do it again. That's what I'm wondering. He flipped over at FSU because they were full of scat backs and needed a bruiser. We could use a bruiser, but I do wonder if he won't get a look on both sides of the ball. He's a quality player, his brother is a linebacker with the Steelers. Edited May 2, 2015 by Chuck Wagon
YoloinOhio
@RQUINN619: .@716SportsGuy those athletic numbers have good comps. Karlos Williams comps to Gurley/Blount/Hyde http://t.co/Sj63GFoMg2

kelsay2sackseason
Fred should have no problem beating out Williams as a RB. The question will be how much they value Karlos' ST abilities... mccoy is replacing fred, brown is replacing spiller imo
C.Biscuit97
This dude is a freak athlete. He can be a STs monster. He may even switch positions. He is the type of athlete you take late in a draft. I'd absolutely love this pick if he didn't have some character concerns.
Wayne Cubed
I'm not sure the FB will be counted in this. I suspect that we go with 5 WR, 3TE, 4RB and 1 FB. But it's a really tough decision. Freddy may be gone but I would hate to see it. They'll be more than 5 WR.... Remember Easley was just resigned. I imagine it's Watkins, Woods, Harvin, Goodwin, Hogan and Easley... YoloinOhio
@ChrisTrapasso: Karlos: prime redshirt candidate for #Bills. FJ likely done after '15. Bryce UFA after '15. Karlos can be power RB w/ LeSean in '16 & beyond
Lurker
Boobie is more ST's though. Boobie could free up $1.1 million in cap space (vs. $660,000 for Bryce Brown). If Williams can provide the same ST value, it may come down to a $$$ decision...
C.Biscuit97
Something to keep in mind...... Jackson is probably only here for one more year Bryce Brown was not traded for by this coaching staff Karlos plays ST's........as does Felton......that is how you keep them on the team Brown has never come close to living up to the hype some posters have for him. IMO, trading for Brown was one of Whaley's worst moves.
Lurker
mccoy is replacing fred, brown is replacing spiller imo Fred might not be a starter anymore, but he'll be a very effective third down back. That's a long way from being off the roster...
Wayne Cubed
He's a 5th round pick... It's a possibility they stash him on the PS.
Prickly Pete
He's not an instinctive runner right now. But he'd be a very good special teams player as a former safety. That's got to be the appeal, IMO... Yep. He will only see the field on special teams, this season.
billstein22
Just to recap...we traded our fourth round pick for Bryce Brown and then drafted his replacement in the fifth.
Lurker
Brown has never come close to living up to the hype some posters have for him. IMO, trading for Brown was one of Whaley's worst moves. It was like buying an insurance policy at the time. No one like to pay for insurance, but sometimes you write the check so you can worry about something else... purple haze
Boobie could free up $1.1 million in cap space (vs. $660,000 for Bryce Brown). If Williams can provide the same ST value, it may come down to a $$$ decision... I doubt they get rid of him. Crossman loves his core ST's. And Roman is very familiar with Boobie as well. So he has two advocates amongst the coordinators. Brown is Whaley's guy. Rex and staff have no allegiance to him.
