BuffaloHokie13 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 That's a helluva interview. Not what I expected at all. Man, that kid can talk and talk fast. A mile a minute with gusts to a mile and a half. Yeah, not what I expected from the other negative reports. He seems to have a solid head on his shoulders
Saxum Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I think he needed to be flexible in college and it shows in his mindset.
GG Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Yeah, not what I expected from the other negative reports. He seems to have a solid head on his shoulders It's the fists that are worrisome.
Jamie Nails Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Don't confuse effort with results... Still proudly hung in the fieldhouse in honor of Saint Doug.
ChevyVanMiller Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Karlos Williams: Ready to Make Buffalo Home (16:19) Terrific interview. Didn't realize Vince Williams is his older brother. The kid sounds incredibly grounded and truly excited to be playing in Buffalo.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 O'Leary looks huge, just as big as Miller. Maybe it's just the picture, but the guy has got to able to block I'd think! Miller does look tiny
YoloinOhio Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 @SalSports: A good look at the two tryout QBs warming up. Austin Trainor and Brandon Hill. #Bills https://t.co/Y47XrlDQhI @SalSports: Only a walk-through but a good look at Bills rookie OG John Miller (76). https://t.co/oq6MPPX40p @SalSports: Bills TE Nick O'Leary catches a pass from QB Brandon Hill. https://t.co/qCSaPD9oxv @SalSports: Bills tryout QB Brandon Hill to 7th round WR Dezmin Lewis https://t.co/zoHx1Nu4Np @SalSports: Had a lot of responses for O'Leary. I watched him a lot yesterday, and wrote he was impressive: http://t.co/Byic0qSL3p @SalSports: Darby changing directions. And yes, he caught it. #Bills https://t.co/w2ppt8KQLp
dayman Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Sal is covering the hell out of rookie camp. Stretching, basic drills, and scheme installation with mostly guys who won't make the team has never seemed so exciting!
YoloinOhio Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 @SalSports: Bills rookie CB Ronald Darby coming right at you. https://t.co/VqutTJPMMU
John from Riverside Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Miller does look tiny No he looks short...which he is....which is ok for a guard

K-9 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Sal is covering the hell out of rookie camp. Stretching, basic drills, and scheme installation with mostly guys who won't make the team has never seemed so exciting! Sal has a genuine love of the game and everything that goes into it. I think he's still a coach at heart. And that comes through in his reports. He relates on an entirely different level than most media types. GO BILLS!!!

Thats not really a wrap up is it ? half his quotes were about little to no participation players " G John Miller: There was very little to evaluate on Miller, as the Bills did not go into 11-on-11 drills and therefore the offensive line never saw live action. RB Karlos Williams: This is a passing camp, and without an offensive line, there isn't much to evaluate with running backs " What the hell is wrong with this guy? he doesnt even want to be there by his writing "efforts" Sal has a genuine love of the game and everything that goes into it. In fairness, we only have 4 o-lineman at rookie minicamp and by the looks of things it seems like it's just a glorified walk through that just focuses on cleaning up technique and going over things. There isn't really much you can take away from that if you're trying to evaluate the players.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Miller does look tiny The guy is slightly shorter than the NFL average for OG's, but he is thick as hell. Similar to how Kyle Williams was described coming out of college, miller is a "bowling ball of butcher knives."
Manther Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I think he is destined for legendary status considering all the 50 jerseys out there... now what will someone do for a Steward jersey? lolWell played!!

I think he was making a joke about CB Wes Miller – (5-9, 183) – UTEP -who's at the rookie camp.

That true enough, but isnt there something to report. instead of saying there is nothing to report? : ) or not even call it a wrap up. what about all the udfas all the kids that wish they could see their names in an article,if only for a moment? surely there is a highlight to expound upon , some witticisms, some humor. But i do agree to a point. Glorified walk through. Millers blurbs were much better than Rodaks reporting. Just talking about hand tech differences was more interesting than there isn't much to evaluate with running backs
