C.Biscuit97 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Gug......these guys dont follow your set of values......you do realize that? I do agree with this. People try to push their own values on other people. Probably an older white person does not have the same feelings as a young black football player. If you are McCoy and you see they keep Cooper and get rid of Jackson and him, that probably looks funny.

It's a lack of common sense. It's pure stupidity. It's slanderous. That's where the filter comes in for civilized adults. Some things are better left unsaid. Especially into a !@#$ing microphone. That's not pushing values. It's expecting a grown man to not be a !@#$ing moron.

As a black player, it probably doesn't go over too well. I don't think Kelly is a racist. It's a bad look and certainly can understand why McCoy would feel that well as probably other black players do too. And I'd say the same thing if a black player was screaming about fighting crackers and honkies and they got rid of a bunch of good white players. It looks bad.

And I'd say the same thing if a black player was screaming about fighting crackers and honkies and they got rid of a bunch of good white players. It looks bad. Quick stat below. There are 6 positions in the NFL that have more white players than black. Those positions are center, placekicker, long snapper, punter, quarterback and tight end. Of the 175 cornerbacks in the league, 170 are black. At running back, 107 of the 120 players are African-American. Another stat is that 68% of all NFL players are black. Consider the positions of the players who Kelly "got rid of." I'm not trying to say that Kelly is - or is not - discriminatory in his practices. The only thing I'm saying is that McCoy is an absolute FOOL for saying what he said to the media. It's all I've been trying to say all along.

It's all I've been trying to say all along. And my point is simple. When you kept Cooper, you opened yourself up to this. If Cooper got cut right after the comments, no one is saying this. That said, McCoy needs to move on and I wish Rex would tell him that.
3rdand12 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 it does seem that simple. McCoy needs to quiet down and play football. and be vewwy vewwy careful with a microphone. i think it was a mistake to continue on publicly with his emotional reaction towards Kelly. When he said he was done he should have held himself accountable for that. If he makes another public blunder i am going to think less of him honestly

Unless he's instrumental in getting us to the playoffs. Then I'll have his likeness tattooed on the small of my back like Beerball did with Flutie.
RealityCheck Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I don't care what these guys have to say. When the ball is snapped, the team will speak as a whole. I will be listening then, wherever that may be. Go Bills!

Go Bills! you are so small minded i cant even talk to you. /sarcasm Me, too. Unless he's instrumental in getting us to the playoffs. Then I'll have his likeness tattooed on the small of my back like Beerball did with Flutie. I have duly noted this brother! i knew you and Beerball were tight but wow. and if when we get to the playoffs this year i plan to call you out
