K-9
...eh, I love Sammy, but I wouldn't say that he's the better player "by far" just yet. However the Bills, if they didn't trade up, were going to take Ebron, not OBJ, and that would have been a major blunder. Again my major gripe was them not using their 2nd rounder last year instead of this year's 1st rounder. Yeah and that reason is now coaching OL in Jax. Where he belongs (and probably not even). I thought that Lions catch was the catch of the year. OBJ's outstretched one was amazing, but I thought Sammy's was more impressive. Me, too. I've seen many similar catches to the one OBJ hauled in and they were all incredible. Sammy's required a level of athleticism and concentration above that. When I look at the replay, I am amazed by how craptastic that throw really was. GO BILLS!!!

Solomon Grundy
EJ's fault. His 4 games last year inflated the uncatchable balls so badly that Orton is going to get a bad rap. Lol.
Dragonborn10
Orton sucked all year. If Sammy doesn't make that catch against the Lions EJ would have been back after the Pats game. Marrone screwed everyone with not playing EJ.
Doc
Nah. Using Marrone's decision isn't really a valid argument. I never knew they kept that stat. You can find every stat imaginable on the internet.
Kirby Jackson
What this stat tells me is that the Bills did not use him effectively at all. Where were the bubble screens and quick crosses? He is a RAC machine and they didn't put him in position to succeed.
K-9
Using Marrone's decision isn't really a valid argument. You can find every stat imaginable on the internet. Actually, there's only an 86.7% chance of that. GO BILLS!!!

dave mcbride
Obj had 2nd least @thadbrown7: How about this: Per @FO_ScottKacsmar Sammy Watkins had 2nd most uncatchable throws in 2014. Odell Beckham 2nd least. Have at it #Billsmafia @FO_ScottKacsmar: 2014 Highest rate of Uncatchable Targets 1. Cecil Shorts 37.3% 2. Sammy Watkins 34.4% 3. A.Hawkins 32.1% 4. VJax 31.0% 5. Mike Wallace 30.4 @FO_ScottKacsmar: Lowest rate of Uncatchable targets, 2014 WR 1. Jarvis Landry 15.2% 2. Odell Beckham Jr. 16.2% 3. Roddy White 16.8% @FO_ScottKacsmar: Uncatchable = ball overthrown, underthrown, thrown away, QB hit in motion, batted at line, tipped by teammate Awesome find - thanks. CardinalScotts
if your playing for fantasy do what the giants did...fall behind big most games and put up meaningless numbers against umbrella defense....Randle has a great year, Beckham goes nuts Eli throws for 4500 yards with a 92+ qb rating and you win 5 games
Uffalo Ills
Unfortunately, this wont prevent ESPN from continuing to talk about ODB like he's the greatest athlete on the face of the planet (except for Johnny Football and Michael Sam of course) Edited May 7, 2015 by Uffalo Ills

Mr. WEO
Batted balls at the line were "uncatchable targets" to...Sammy? Ditto balls thrown away? And balls that are hit while the QB is in motion? How does this guy know who the target was in each of these cases?
GG
Funny how Tannenhill had receivers on both lists. No wonder Wallace is gone.
