justnzane Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 what really concerns me is the link to the story of microsoft buying into the anti-virus market ... bye bye any real internet security
billsfanone Posted February 9, 2005 Author Posted February 9, 2005 Wow. I had my watch set. I figured in a half-hour, there would be 100 anti-Microsoft posts already...
IDBillzFan Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 How fortunate that I don't use IE, Media Player, Windows Messenger or XP Office Business software. Maybe MS should stick to making OS software and leave everything else to the people who know what they're doing.

mcjeff215 Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 MS changed it's update release model a while back. As opposed to releasing updates as they're discovered, they release a whole series of patches once a month. This replaces a steady trickle of one-off updates that would have been coming down the pipe. -Jeff
