3rdand12 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 @Gil_Brandt DT Andrew Billings and CB Xavien Howard upped their #NFLDraft status at #ProDayBU. I think it depends on how many QBs go ahead of the Bills' pick at 19. Draft War Room: Buffalo Bills (6:24) CBs and WRs too.

26CornerBlitz Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 NFL Mock Draft: Why Cowboys taking Ezekiel Elliott at No. 4 isn't crazy By Will Brinson | NFL Writer CBS Sports Taking a running back at No. 4 is crazy, or so the thinking goes. But for a Cowboys team in win-now mode, grabbing Ezekiel Elliott could be crazy smart. 19. Buffalo Bills Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State: He's a speedy linebacker who Rex Ryan might feel can be used in different ways to attack offenses in his exotic schemes. @walterfootball Tons more Pro Day results from @TonyPauline posted. 26CornerBlitz Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 NFL Mock Draft 5.0: Post-Free Agency Edition By: Jon Ledyard This is my fifth mock of the offseason, coming on the heels of the biggest rush of free agency, during which even the draft order was shaken up with the Eagles and Dolphins swapping spots as part of a trade. I’ll have at least two more mocks coming before the draft, and I’m hoping to put together a three round spectacle/disaster for you guys to savagely tear apart in the coming weeks. As always, this mock draft is what I think teams WILL DO, not necessarily what I believe they SHOULD DO. Judge accordingly. 19. Buffalo Bills: EDGE Kevin Dodd, Clemson Scouting Report Overview: Someone asked me awhile back if I thought Dodd fit into the Bills defensive scheme and at the time I said no. That still may be the case, but if Rex Ryan is committed to using multiple fronts rather than a strict 3-4, Dodd could be the ideal fit. The highly-productive Clemson defensive end can rush the passer from a two or three-point stance effectively, but doesn’t have the athleticism to operate in space or drop into coverage like a true outside linebacker. If used appropriately, Dodd fills a huge need left by the departure of Mario Williams to Miami.

A total of 16 prospects worked out for teams, but the star attraction was first round hopeful Corey Coleman 2016 NFL Draft: Leonard Floyd fails to deliver at Georgia pro day A virtual Who's Who of NFL personnel, including Bill Belichick, Rex Ryan and Jerry Reese, watched 17 former Georgia Bulldogs work out Wednesday in Athens. Unfortunately, the star attraction, Floyd -- a projected first round pick -- was unable to finish his workout, disappointing the large crowd of NFL decision-makers.

26CornerBlitz Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 400 pounds of talent Receiver Corey Coleman's first official 40 attempt might have drawn a crowd, but there was also bona fide buzz surrounding 405-pound tight end LaQuan McGowan at Baylor's pro day. Defensive tackle Andrew Billings -- 6-0 3/8, 311 -- had a 4.96 40 time. He did the short shuttle in 4.77 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.77 seconds. Billings looked good in his positional workout, and is one of the Baylor prospects who upped their draft stock at the pro day.

The “Need vs. Best Available” argument is one that we’ve heard for decades, and while in theory everyone would love to take the best player on their board, the reality of having to line up 22 starters four months from draft day will impact decisions. In fact, that pressure to fill every spot on the field may actually influence who a team determines is the “best player.”

26CornerBlitz Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 Big Board: Pro Day Payoffs by Rob Rang | NFLDraftScout.com Senior Analyst UCLA linebacker Myles Jack and Clemson cornerback Mackensie Alexander are among the big winners of the early pro day circuit after each showed off his trademark explosiveness. The news wasn't great for everyone, however, with Alabama inside linebacker Reggie Ragland showing a surprising lack of strength during his workout, especially for a 250-pound run-stuffer in the middle. The Big Board isn't just another mock draft. No attention is paid to team needs or upcoming free agency. This is my personal ranking of the top 50 prospects available in the 2016 NFL Draft.
