26CornerBlitz Posted March 6, 2016 Author Posted March 6, 2016 Here are the 10 pro days to watch heading into the 2016 NFL Draft Projected first round picks like Mississippi wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and Clemson cornerback Mackensie Alexander have yet to work out. Meanwhile, scouts may be just as eager to see UCLA linebacker Myles Jack and Utah running back Devontae Booker prove that they are overcoming knee injuries. We break down when, where and who to watch as the 2016 Pro Day season kicks off.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys could dictate first round with pick at No. 4 By Rob Rang | The Sports Xchange/CBSSports.com The Cowboys face an interesting dilemma at No. 4 overall: go with the immediate impact defender in an attempt at one last Super Bowl run or build for the future with a young quarterback to groom behind Tony Romo. The choice Jerry Jones makes at No. 4 could shape the entire first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. 19. Buffalo Bills Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Mississippi: The Bills probably should be looking for help on offense with this pick but as long as Rex Ryan has a say, the defensive line will get plenty of attention. Powerful and used to double-teams, Nkemdiche has the size and strength to be the defensive end Ryan had hoped Mario Williams would be. He's also quite athletic, boasting perhaps the most exciting raw talent as any defensive lineman in this draft. Ryan has never been one to shy from talent, even if it comes with red flags, as Nkemdiche does.
LeGOATski Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Here are the 10 pro days to watch heading into the 2016 NFL Draft I'd love if the Bills drafted Booker. Sure, it's crowded backfield, but I think Booker will be a steal.

Buffalo Bills: Vernon Butler, DE, Louisiana Tech The Bills could go a lot of different directions with this pick. With the departure of Mario Williams, finding a five-technique defensive end makes sense. Louisiana Tech defensive lineman Vernon Butler is an ideal fit. He's been compared to Jets defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson and could play multiple spots on Buffalo's defensive line. Rex Ryan could find a way to take advantage of his skill set.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 Scout: 2016 is one of the worst offensive drafts in four or five yearsFor all those fans of NFL teams with high draft picks who are hoping to find their future offensive stud, you may want to look away right about now. With players like Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, Laquon Treadwell, Ezekiel Elliott and Derrick Henry picking up a ton of praise and a whole lot of hype, maybe we should all pump the brakes just a bit.

26CornerBlitz Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders upgrade the run game with Ezekiel Elliott By Dane Brugler | NFLDraftScout.com Senior Analyst The Raiders have their quarterback and wide receiver of the future with Derek Carr and Amari Cooper, but what about at running back? Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott would give Oakland their own version of the triplets. 19. Buffalo Bills Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville: The vaunted Buffalo defense looked mediocre at times this season with many claiming that Rex Ryan's “scheme” was the issue. Rankins has ability that transcends schemes with his ability to stop the run and rush the passer.

26CornerBlitz Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 @walterfootball New Pro Day notes from @TonyPauline posted - http://walterfootball.com/proday.php 2016 Pro Day Notes: Tuesday, March 8, 11:05 a.m. By Tony Pauline, http://draftinsider.net/The pro-day schedule picks up the pace on Tuesday, as seven workouts are scheduled, headlined by Oklahoma State. One player who will be at the Oklahoma State workout but not participating is defensive lineman Jimmy Bean. Bean is still not 100 percent from the surgery he underwent after Week 8 of the college season to repair a torn ACL. Sources close to his camp tell me it's unlikely Bean works out prior to the draft. One late note from yesterday was the performance of North Dakota linebacker William Ratelle, who took part in the Minnesota workout. Ratelle measured 5090, 251 pounds, completed 36 reps on the bench, posted a 36-inch vertical jump and 9-10 broad, and ran the 40 in 4.55. He did both linebacker and fullback drills for scouts in attendance.

Ryan has never been one to shy from talent, even if it comes with red flags, as Nkemdiche does. This guy might need his own thread. At least half the mock drafts I've seen have the Bills taking him. I need the collective genius of the board to weigh in on him.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) This guy might need his own thread. At least half the mock drafts I've seen have the Bills taking him. I need the collective genius of the board to weigh in on him. The pinned draft DL thread is where most in depth discussion of prospects takes place. Drafting this guy in the 1st round is really rolling the dice IMO with boom or bust potential. After going through half-hearted efforts with Mario this past season, I'm not sure that the Bills want anything to do with that risk at 19. They need more of a sure thing.
