The Eagles joined the Rams in making bold moves to the top of the 2016 NFL Draft, all but assuring that the first two picks will be quarterbacks. How will the new reality affect the remainder of the first round?

BUF.png19. Buffalo Bills

Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: This might still be too low for the only "available" quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft at this point. Lynch is a huge winner in the deal between the Eagles and Browns because his stock is on the rise.

The Eagles go up to No. 2 to secure their quarterback so who is the most likely player to land at No. 8 for the Browns? Another trade back.

BUF.png19. Buffalo Bills

A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama: With Kyle Williams coming off meniscus surgery and about to turn 33 years old, the Bills need to find his successor. Along with Marcell Dareus, Robinson would give Buffalo an all-Alabama defensive interior.

The Browns bypass a top-two quarterback to move down and acquire more assets, both in this draft and for the future, a move that signals yet another rebuild for the franchise.

BUF.png19. Buffalo Bills

Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Mississippi: The Bills probably should be looking for help on offense with this pick, but as long as Rex Ryan has a say, the defensive line will get plenty of attention. Powerful and used to double-teams, Nkemdiche has the size and strength to be the defensive end Ryan had hoped Mario Williams would be. He's also quite athletic, boasting perhaps the most exciting raw talent as any defensive lineman in this draft. Ryan has never been one to shy from talent, even if it comes with red flags, as Nkemdiche does.

Davis mock draft 6.0: Eagles' trade nets Goff

The Eagles followed up the Rams' trade to get a QB with a move of their own to secure a future franchise QB. Charles Davis updates his first-round projection following the Wednesday's trade.

@MatthewFairburn

Todd McShay must have been listening to @MockingTheDraft and I on the podcast, because we have the same #Bills pick: http://ow.ly/4mWkP2

19. Buffalo Bills: Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi State
Dan went with Mississippi State defensive tackle Chris Jones for the Bills. Jones could play a few different positions on Buffalo's defensive line but projects nicely as a five-technique defensive end. He has some Muhammad Wilkerson to him game, and while he's an unfinished product, his raw potential is worth rolling the dice on in the top 20.

Looks like a lot of folks are getting on the Chris Jones train

Entering the period where mock drafts aim to be right on draft day, not analysing fit.

I welcome our new Mississippi State overlord.

McShay: "One of the ultimate boom/bust players in the 2016 class, Jones has the potential to develop into a highly disruptive inside presence if he remains focused. He has a rare combination of length, strength and athleticism. Another player to keep an eye on here: Kevin Dodd from Clemson. The Bills love ACC guys, and while this would be a too early for him based on my board, they do have a bigger need for a perimeter rusher."

IIRC Mayock moved him out of his top 5.

I don't see him or Ragland for us. This year I am honestly not sure what we are going to do ; just like last year with Darby...

Edit: I expect us in the first round to find someone who can cover Gronk and Bennet or it will be a WR....

Here it is. Mock Draft #3. Some surprises as board fell, including 3rd QB and how WRs and OTs fall: http://www.wgr550.com/CAPACCIO-Mock-Draft-3/22688742

19. Buffalo Bills - Shaq Lawson - DE, Clemson

We know the Bills love their Clemson Tigers. We also know Rex Ryan knows Clemson players very, very well since his son Seth plays wide receiver for Dabo Swinney’s team. So, some may just pass it off as “oh, another Clemson guy?,” but the fact is Lawson is very much worthy of the nineteenth-overall selection, especially for a Bills team that was near the bottom of the league in getting to the passer last season and then released defensive end Mario Williams. The Bills need someone to play the edge as much, if not more, than any other spot on the field. And Lawson is one of the best in this draft.

Previous Bills pick 1 - Darron Lee - LB, Ohio State

Previous Bills pick 2 - Laquon Treadwell - WR, Ole Miss

USA TODAY Mock #NFLDraft 2016: Laquon Treadwell doesn't make it past No. 7 http://usat.ly/1Sn7ANS

USA TODAY’s Nate Davis has officially released his mock draft 6.0, which features both the trades by the Los Angeles Rams to No. 1 and Philadelphia Eagles to No. 2.

These moves obviously shook things up quite a bit, and there’s a whole lot to take away from his mock draft. Be sure to click on the link above to see Davis’ complete first round in detail, but we have a look at some selections who really stand out.

19. Buffalo Bills – Mackensie Alexander, Clemson: Few coaches value corners like Rex Ryan, who also has a soft spot for Clemson players. Alexander would be a nice option defending the slot between outside CBs Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby.
