This honestly would not shock me......and then they went defense in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

I would still like to trade down and pick up an additional 2nd or 3rd.

I really expect a WR or DL/LB in the first. With the depth at D in this draft, if you have a shot at a legit #2 WR you take it in RD1....

Going to be difficult to predict what position the Bills ultimately go with in the 1st round. So many options.

NFL Mock Draft 6.0: Rams trade for No. 1 overall pick shakes up top ten: https://t.co/knnmyN07ar

19. Buffalo Bills: LB Reggie Ragland, Alabama

Scouting Report
Overview: Ragland’s draft stock has been all over the place, but in the end, inside linebacker remains one of Buffalo’s very few true needs, and not many fit the bill better than the Alabama defender. Ragland hits everything that moves in the box, and is instinctive enough in coverage to get by without exceptional athleticism. Rex Ryan will appreciate the football player and leader Ragland is on a defense in need of a vocal presence.

The Rams' big trade up to No. 1 means another draft with QBs going 1-2, while the Titans still land a top tackle while the Bolts luck into Laremy Tunsil.

BUF.png19. Buffalo Bills

Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson: They have to get a left end to replace Mario Williams and Dodd would seem to fit the mold. Scouts like him a lot more than I do.

Is PFF kidding with this?

@PFF

Our latest mock draft goes head-to-head, with a heated debate over which QB the Rams should pick: https://t.co/VAgiR8zbgJ

19. Monson: Buffalo Bills – Cody Whitehair, G/T, Kansas State

Conklin to the Bills is their dream scenario, but Whitehair isn’t far behind in terms of being an ideal fit. He should be a stud guard and he’s a guy who may well make a good tackle, too. The right side of that Buffalo line needs repair work at either spot.

There is literally a LIST of DL prospects where I feel we would not go wrong with

That is why I think there is a strong possibility that 1st pick wont be a DL/DT........

I'm definitely leaning more towards LB/OT depending on what is available

Pick No. 19
BUF.png
Darron Lee OLB Ohio St.
Whether the Bills go with Lee or Reggie Ragland here would show how much trust they have in second-year player Preston Smith to run the defense from the middle. If they pick Lee over Ragland, Smith probably stays inside, while Lee's athleticism allows him to rush the passer and make plays in coverage and versus the run on the outside.

19. Buffalo Bills: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU

With Treadwell off the board this week, the Bills opt for Doctson, who might be the best receiver in this class anyway. His body control is off the charts, and it almost wouldn't be fair to have him and Sammy Watkins snatching passes out of the sky together.

I can deal with this.

Can TT make use of him ? Great player, and great player at 19. I secretly ( was a secret ) love this pick

I am not against this......provided that we go D with our next 2 picks

I am adamant about bolstering the D !

But this Kid you cannot let get past you by i think. I think he is the best WR of the draft and going to have a long term impact.

This draft for the Bills at 19 could be a nail biter for me

Or maybe they go with neither?

I think assuming the Bills go LB at #19 is ridiculous...If you could combine Ragland and Lee...That's a LB worthy of #19 overall...But I don't like either there...If the Bills are bound and determined to go LB in the 1st I'd rather see them trade down and just take the one that's left...

No matter what I prefer SO many D-linemen in this Draft to either Lee or Ragland I don't think it should matter...I really don't see how it will be possible for either of those two to be BPA when the Bills pick... B-)

3 NFL draft developments - April 16th

jaylon-smith-story.jpg

There was some disappointing news concerning the recovery from knee surgery by Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith. How the trade swung by Tennessee and Los Angeles for the top pick might be the best thing to happen to Cleveland with the second pick and how recent off the field incidents aren't helping two prospects.

1 – LB Jaylon Smith won’t play in 2016, opinions vary on LB Myles Jack

2 – Cleveland’s No. 2 pick now a hot commodity

3 – Prospect arrests could prove costly
