3rdand12 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 "Such a Rex Ryan pick"...it bothers me that people perceive of Wrex this way....especially because I agree. Thankfully I doubt Whaley will select him. The whole persona of Rex Ryan perceived , the media keeps pumping up has long since got on my nerves. true are not. repeat it enough times it must be truth. right ?

26CornerBlitz Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 @RapSheet The #Eagles have had exploratory talks about moving up to No. 1, as have others. To get their franchise QB, the belief is they'd have to. @ChrisTrapasso Chris Trapasso Retweeted Ian Rapoport My guess = to pick Jared Goff. But would be weird to move up to No. 1 to take a QB with Bradford recently extended.

Along with Marcel Dareus, Robinson would give Buffalo an all-Alabama defensive interior. 49. Buffalo BillsCardale Jones, QB, Ohio State: Buffalo is looking for a young quarterback to groom and Jones has all the desired physical traits. 80. Buffalo Bills Kyler Fackrell, LB, Utah State: With his experience rushing the passer and dropping in space, Fackrell is an ideal fit in the Bills' scheme. 117. 26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 @PFF The latest PFF draft board: https://t.co/O0uojNjccg 2016 Mock Draft: Rams make a splash for No. 1 and a quarterback By Dane Brugler | NFLDraftScout.com Senior AnalystRegardless if it was an overpay or not, the Rams now own the No. 1 pick and will draft a quarterback. But which one, Carson Wentz or Jared Goff? 1. Los Angeles Rams: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota StateBy trading up to this pick, the Rams have created a stir at the top of the 2016 NFL Draft. As they make the move to Los Angeles, the franchise needs a fresh face at quarterback. 2. Cleveland Browns: Jared Goff, QB, CaliforniaThe Browns are drafting a quarterback this April - the only question is whether or not that will happen in the first round. This pick is much more valuable now if the Browns want to trade back, but if they like Goff, Cleveland should stay put and get their quarterback. 19. Buffalo Bills: A'Shawn Robinson, DT, AlabamaWith Kyle Williams coming off meniscus surgery and about to turn 33 years old, the Bills need to find his successor. Along with Marcel Dareus, Robinson would give Buffalo an all-Alabama defensive interior.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 2016 NFL Mock Draft: Quarterbacks go 1-2 after huge Rams-Titans trade By Rob Rang | The Sports Xchange/CBSSports.com Rams GM Les Snead and head coach Jeff Fisher make a bold trade and obtain the No. 1 overall pick. With it Los Angeles picks QB Carson Wentz, who the Rams hope will be the missing piece to an offense littered with weapons. 1. Los Angeles Rams: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota StateWith Gurley, a rookie Pro Bowler, and the playmaking Tavon Austin on offense and the NFL's most ferocious defensive line, the Rams are only an improving passing game away from competing in the NFC West. Showing not only all of the physical talent scouts are looking for in a franchise quarterback but the leadership and composure as well, Wentz eased concerns about his level of competition at NDSU with stellar performances at the Senior Bowl, combine and his March 24 pro day. The last time an FCS player was selected in the top three came back in 1995 when a Fisher, then head coach of the Houston Oilers, drafted the late Steve McNair out of Alcorn State with the third overall pick. 2. Cleveland Browns: Jared Goff, QB, CaliforniaThe signing of Robert Griffin III lessens the need for a Day One starting quarterback but the relative lack of interest shown by other clubs in free agency should keep the Browns looking for a fallback option. Browns offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton is very familiar with Goff after trying to recruit him to Stanford. 19. Buffalo Bills - Robert Nkemdiche, DL, MississippiThe Bills probably should be looking for help on offense with this pick but as long as Rex Ryan has a say, the defensive line will get plenty of attention. Powerful and used to double-teams, Nkemdiche has the size and strength to be the defensive end Ryan had hoped Mario Williams would be. He's also quite athletic, boasting perhaps the most exciting raw talent as any defensive lineman in this draft. Ryan has never been one to shy from talent, even if it comes with red flags, as Nkemdiche does.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 @walterfootball Full 7-round 2016 NFL Draft Order updated for the Rams and Titans trade - http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2016.php @LanceZierlein My bosses asked me to put together an updated Mock post Rams/Titans trade. Because I love you..... http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/mock-drafts/lance-zierlein/305665 1 Carson Wentz QB North Dakota St. This is an aggressive stroke by a team looking to make a big splash and (presumably) find the face of its franchise as it heads to a new home. Wentz (or Jared Goff) could be brought along at a more patient pace considering the honeymoon period the Rams will have with their new fan base. Regardless, it is highly unlikely that the Rams gave up what they did to move into this spot to not take a quarterback. 2 Myles Jack OLB UCLA I still believe the Browns will be shopping this pick for additional selections, but if Wentz goes first, the value of this selection might no longer be to the Browns' liking. If they stick in this spot, Jared Goff, Joey Bosa and Jalen Ramsey could all be considered. However, Jack has the potential to be an All-Pro defender in the middle of the Browns' defense and the type of alpha leader that Patrick Willis was when he came into the league with the 49ers. 19 Paxton Lynch QB Memphis Lynch could come in right away and battle it out with Tyrod Taylor for the top spot while allowing the Bills to cut bait with former first-rounder EJ Manuel. There are better "right now" options for this pick, but if the Bills aren't all-in with Taylor, Lynch could get serious consideration here.
Deranged Rhino Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 The closer we get to the draft, the more and more I'm hoping for Jack to end up in Buffalo. I know it's a dream... but what a dream it would be.

26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 @sn_nfl NFL Mock Draft 2016: Rams get Carson Wentz, Titans still get their tackle http://dlvr.it/L3YQyp 1 Los Angeles Rams — Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State 2 Cleveland Browns — Jared Goff, QB, California 15 Tennessee Titans — Jack Conklin, T, Michigan State 19 Buffalo Bills — Jarran Reed, DT, AlabamaThe Bills are tied to defensive tackle pretty heavily, which is no surprise for a Rex Ryan team that needs to think about a grinding, sturdy long-term replacement for Kyle Williams. Reed is a much better option in that regard over boom-or-bust Crimson Tide linemate A'Shawn Robinson.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 2016 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers trade up to No. 4 spot, land Carson Wentz By Jared Dubin | CBS Sports Staff Writer The Rams shook up the draft board by trading up to the No. 1 overall pick, surrendering a huge haul to the Titans for the right to any prospect of their choosing. It also creates a ripple effect. 19. Buffalo Bills: Josh Doctson, WR, TCUWith Treadwell off the board this week, the Bills opt for Doctson, who might be the best receiver in this class anyway. His body control is off the charts, and it almost wouldn't be fair to have him and Sammy Watkins snatching passes out of the sky together.

26CornerBlitz Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 2016 NFL Mock Draft: Titans-Rams trade is a huge win for the Cowboys By Will Brinson | CBS Sports NFL Writer The Titans and Rams blew up everyone's mock draft. Lit them all on fire and threw them in the dumpster with a massive trade by Los Angeles to move up to No. 1 overall from No. 15. 19. Buffalo Bills: Robert Nkemdiche, DL, MississippiJust one of those picks that seems too easy to make. Super-talented defensive prospect who falls in the draft because of off-field issues can be paired perfectly with players' coach who convinces himself he can turnaround any troubled star and harness the talent in his defense.

I would still like to trade down and pick up an additional 2nd or 3rd. I really expect a WR or DL/LB in the first. With the depth at D in this draft, if you have a shot at a legit #2 WR you take it in RD1....
