DC Tom Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Don't hurt / threaten to hurt women is on my list too. Don't get questioned by police if someone you used to know but haven't talked to for the better part of a year is killed. Hell, I'll say it again. Just don't associate with anyone, ever.
K D Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 i'm not worried about it: - guys will fight and be over it in about 10 min. if it was between teammates i'm sure they have already squashed it and moved on and are laughing about it by now - sounds like these guys are ready for some football! save it for the field. put the pads on and get to work boys - who hasn't been in a fight on chippewa? it's a right of passage
YoloinOhio Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Don't think soi am thinking of someone else then. Had to look up Holley. From Alaska. Edited May 5, 2015 by YoloinOhio

What does that mean for me?
DrDawkinstein Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Soooooo true. I will second that for sure! The females are the ones the start 95% of the drama at clubs and the accompanying males have to back them up. Then the females jump in the fight and end up getting hit by a flying fist or two...I have seen this story play out many times... Especially when I read that Robert Woods "threatened to punch a girl in the face". I know that threat. Ive had to use it. It was probably to back her off and did more to defuse the situation than anything. Once that switch flips with drunk girls, they often need a jolt to bring them out of it, since they are used to living in a world with no repercussions for physical violence. (disclaimer: this statement is meant only within the context of bar fighting)
Hot Buffalo Wings Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I can't even picture Sammy and AW fighting...there's no way that happened. On the other hand, I could see Goodwin getting tough with someone else (maybe defensive) and Woody jumping in. Whats with the hand gun gesture Goodwin makes in EVERY picture?
DC Tom Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 The end result of all of this is going to be Jerry Hughes getting fined by Goodell.
Lurker Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 The end result of all of this is going to be Jerry Hughes getting fined by Goodell. More likely some player being run out of town ahead of the torches and pitchfork crowd...
YoloinOhio Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 The end result of all of this is going to be Jerry Hughes getting fined by Goodell.he can just tack it on to Hughes' suspension for Deflate-gate. I can't even picture Sammy and AW fighting...there's no way that happened. On the other hand, I could see Goodwin getting tough with someone else (maybe defensive) and Woody jumping in. Whats with the hand gun gesture Goodwin makes in EVERY picture? there is a picture of Marrone just to the right that you can't see
eball Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 The end result of all of this is going to be Jerry Hughes getting fined by Goodell. Cue the Jerry Sullivan editorial tomorrow morning calling for Woods to be cut immediately.
PromoTheRobot Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) yep and I believe he went to UB?Not a UB alum. You're thinking of Naaman Roosevelt. Holley is from Anchorage and went to college at East Central OK. Edited May 5, 2015 by PromoTheRobot
RalphOP83 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I'm told neither Aaron Williams nor Sammy were involved... They both got out of dodge as soon as things went down.
DrDawkinstein Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Cue the Jerry Sullivan editorial tomorrow morning calling for Woods to be cut immediately. Thus guaranteeing a Pro Bowl year for Woods on the Bills this year. I'll take it! I'm told neither Aaron Williams nor Sammy were involved... They both got out of dodge as soon as things went down. That makes way more sense than the initial rumor since I would peg those two as the smartest of the bunch.
Numark3 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Especially when I read that Robert Woods "threatened to punch a girl in the face". I know that threat. Ive had to use it. (disclaimer: this statement is meant only within the context of bar fighting) Tough to read. Yup those drunk girls needing threats of violence to keep them in check. The majority of aggressors at bar fights are drunk women, not men!
Gugny Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Tough to read. Yup those drunk girls needing threats of violence to keep them in check. The majority of aggressors at bar fights are drunk women, not men! Thanks for your input, Mr. Rice.
White Linen Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I'm told neither Aaron Williams nor Sammy were involved... They both got out of dodge as soon as things went down. Good for them.
DrDawkinstein Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Tough to read. Yup those drunk girls needing threats of violence to keep them in check. The majority of aggressors at bar fights are drunk women, not men! Thanks for your input, Mr. Rice. It's a touchy subject, for sure. And I was relieved to read others shared my experience as well. Again, this isnt with regards to regular life, only strictly within the confines of young, drunk jackassery at bars.
RalphOP83 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Tough to read. Yup those drunk girls needing threats of violence to keep them in check. The majority of aggressors at bar fights are drunk women, not men! Let's be clear here... I agree women can be a pain when it comes to bar fights. I worked in the bar business for many years... Including a few years at this particular establishment. If I am a professional football player, I let the security staff do their job. In the day and age of social media, cell phone videos and pics, my main goal is to steer clear of any incident that could be misconstrued.
hondo in seattle Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 There was a fight.... I can confirm that it involved marquise goodwin as an aggressor. Robert woods was involved as well. Witnesses also said Sammy Watkins and Aaron Williams were part of the group but did not get involved. I know first hand of one female that was injured and another that was threatened with a punch in the face from Robert Woods. A bar employee lost 2 teeth. The individuals that reached out to me are deciding whether or not to pursue the incident. (I'm sure u can guess what I do for a living) The people I'm dealing with are more insulted and pissed off than anything...they were there for a 21st birthday party and were swarmed by this group Gossip columnist?
