I'm sure the Dolphins would love to stick it to the Bills here, especially after Clay.

Also, someday Rex Ryan could make an amazing college football coach. The man hits the recruiting trail like no one else.

I hated Doug Marrone. I love Rex freakin' Ryan.

Hit the nail on the head on all fronts.

P.S. Why is he not signed yet? Terry and Kim are cheap !!

Ha could you imagine how underwhelming a visit from Doug Marrone would have been.

If he signs with us, that will be like we had a first round pick this past draft.

Collins

Darby

Miller

Williams

Steward

Lewis

sounds a whole lot better

don't forget O'Leary!

If it's between us and Dolphins, I like our chances. Fins have Albert and James at Tackle, and continuity in coaching staffs is gonna be high on the priority list for a guy looking for a payday after year 3. Gotta think Philbin is on borrowed time and probably gone if they don't make playoffs. Rex and his staff probably safe for at least 3 years. And he gets to block for McCoy.

My guess is that they are trying to get a commitment tonight. If you have the 1st crack at a guy that 32 teams want you have to try to get it done before anyone else gets a chance.

He would make him run wind sprints while telling him how he coached through a snowstorm

I remain puzzled why no team used a 7th round pick on him. Super low risk, high reward.

Because he could refuse to sign and then enter the draft the following year. As an UDFA that isn't an option

Bc he most likely wouldn't hv signed and would hv re-entered the draft next year but since he wasnt drafted he can't re-enter next year

Beat me to it- should have read further

Yeah, no wonder we never signed any talented UDFAs the last two years.

Pay him more than Jameis's deal. If we sign him what a major win, it's not likely he's even available at 19 before this all happened. Signing him (and having him cleared) would be like we traded nothing for Sammy.

Not possible because of his status as a UDFA he's locked into a standard minimum contract

With Rex's personality, a job opening at guard, throw in a little Doug, Terry and Kim seems like it be hard to say no. Man, I love how aggressive this team is. :)

Not sure that's true. Yolo quoted a source in the UDFA thread about teams getting around the minimum deal.
