YoloinOhio Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) Isn't he a DE? Anyway, interesting and I like it! Fits Rex mold of size/length. We could use the depth. Edited May 4, 2015 by YoloinOhio
AllDayADay Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Ohhhh yeah! I loved AC when we drafted him and always thought he had the potential to be a dominant "5 technique". This would be awesome if it happens. I think people are over estimating our d-line depth. He would be great as inside-rusher or a 5 in a 3-4 look. Do it Doug!
truth on hold Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) not always consistent, he can at times play big. and hes versatile enough to add depth across the line. for the right price wouldnt be a bad signing Edited May 4, 2015 by JTSP
YoloinOhio Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) He was good at 5 technique under Pettine before he got hurt. Would be a nice addition to the roster. not always consistent, he can at times play big. and hes versatile enough to add depth across the line. for the right price wouldnt be a bad signingyep, he wouldn't need to start but for scheme fit and depth it would be nice. Dragonborn10 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Sweet. I think he would help the DE depth better than any rookie. Really wanted a big DE in round 2.

Coach Tuesday Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 That's great. I didn't want him to leave. But the way he left hopefully taught Eugene Parker a lesson about messing with Whaley, and if we can get him back after his year of exile it would be perfect.
QB Bills Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Sign this guy! Nobody will be able to make a field goal against us next year if Megahand is in there.
Lurker Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) This would be a real nice depth signing, seeing that they didn't get any help at the position in the draft. We're likely to see them kicking the tires on several veteran FAs now, with Spikes and Landry perhaps up next. Edited May 4, 2015 by Lurker

NickelCity Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Would love this. Suddenly having depth (albeit all on the defensive side of the ball except for rb) is quite a nice change.
Momma Pecoraro Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Is he willing to go long or will he just check down?
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I'm all for it. Parker got greedy and we were moving to a system where he wouldn't be as useful. Now, he'd likely be a starter rotating in with Hughes. Hopefully the fact that the market has cooled significantly for him gives us a strong bargaining position.

NoSaint Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 would be a nice piece, potentially. hes a talented guy to have as your 5 or 6 in a rotation.
GunnerBill Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Interesting thing to consider is that he was someone that Pettine was very high on for the scheme two years ago and then he got injured very early. Bringing him back as a depth player would be an excellent move in my mind. I'd feel slightly sorry for whoever missed out on the D-Line (probably Corbin Bryant at a guess) but he would have no problem finding work elsewhere in the NFL.
