26CornerBlitz Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 DEZMIN LEWIS: "I CAN ATTACK THE BALL" (4:55) Bills rookie WR Dezmin Lewis joined The John Murphy show to talk about his first day at One Bills Drive, his experience playing at Central Arkansas, and how he plans to use his size to help the WR group.
Lurker Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 But he's no Randy Moss. Sigh. He may not even be James Hardy...
YoloinOhio Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I think this kid is going to be good. I gotta feeling.

LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I think this kid is going to be good. I gotta feeling Buffalo is going to the Super Bowl. Fixed it for ya.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 @buffalobills SIGNED! Drafted rookies WR Dez Lewis and TE Nick O'Leary made it official today. Details: http://www.buffalobills.com/index.html

Manther Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I like he upside on this WR. But, he would have to be our 6th WR. We may only keep 5. So, my question is do you think we could stash him on the PS or do you think he would get scooped up?

So, my question is do you think we could stash him on the PS or do you think he would get scooped up? the Bills can try to stash him.. If a team tries to sign him then the Bills can move him to the active roster. They do need to have s spot obviously so either cut someone or move someone to IR. I believe they would need to keep him on the active roster for 4 weeks at least if they did that. Teams are typically less likely to sign WRs off of other teams PS than their own because their own guys have already built chemistry with their QBs in TC and practice.
John from Riverside Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I think he is gonna be a practice squad player.......just not enough room for him on the roster
starrymessenger Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 He needs an NFL strength and conditioning programme and maybe another 10 lbs which his frame would permit. Then he needs to find some nasty in fighting DBs for the ball. If he can do those things, he's Marques Colston. Went into his pro day looking to improve on his combine 40 time, which was respectable. Ran once, hand held 4.48 I believe.

And according to NFL draft scout, he ran a 4.36, which I assume happened at the Combine since he ran the 40 just once at this Pro Day, but his official time was 4.58.

I had heard about it, can't remember from where. If he had done it at the Combine, even unofficially but with lots of evaluator butts in the seats, I have to think he would have gone well before the seventh.

starrymessenger Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Yeah, no idea where that's from. 2015 NFL Draft Scout reports his "low" 40 time as 4:36. For what it's worth.

CBD Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Ran a 4.58 at combine http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/2/21/8079839/2015-nfl-combine-results-40-yard-dash-wide-receiver
