#34fan Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 This kid, to me, seemed very, very, raw... Late third round pick at best... Still scratching my head.
thebandit27 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I want to hear why. I felt that there were better values out there than Darby. I felt that the position is currently the deepest on the whole team. I felt that he was inconsistent in college. In a nutshell
thurst44 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Terrible pick, third rounder at best...way better players still on the board Absolutely hate how this team continues to use high picks on DBs Yep, really sucks having the #3 pass defense in the league. And he was listed as a 3rd rounder by no one. In fact, the only post 1st round mock I saw today had him going first today. I know this board hates CBs, but this board also rants about how it's a pass-driven league, and presumes that means you need to have a pass-centric offense...no, in fact, a counterpunch, as the Bills are pushing out, may be the best way to go; however, it does mean you want to have plenty of cornerbacks. How many people here who are complaining about taking CBs with high picks also complained about Justin Rogers starting when our top 3 CBs went down. THAT is why it is good to have a ton of them.
Kirby Jackson Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Ha ha, this place is so funny. Everyone loves Leroi when he shares info and then 85% of people hate him when he expresses his opinion. We need to appreciate Leroi people!!
26CornerBlitz Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 @WGR550 Bills Take CB Darby in 2nd Round http://bit.ly/1HZI52S
dezertbill Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) Doesn't have good hands according to this video. But you have to respect Ryan and Whaley's evaulation. He was rated 1st round talent by Bucky Brooks. He can hit and has great speed. I think this spells the end for McKelvin after this year. I think the 3rd pick will be a bit more mainstream. QB or OL Edited May 2, 2015 by dezertbill

We need to appreciate Leroi people!! Dude seems to have a good source coupled with crazy opinions- I just want to know which is which so I can appreciate the valuable!
Agent 91 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Standard height means little to me - you gotta factor in the arms and leaping ability. It's why the 6'10" Olajuwon played like he was 7'1". Tread lightly my man. If you are telling me that this guy could be an Olajuwon of cbs. I'm on board lol
Lurker Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Everyone loves Leroi when he shares info and then 85% of people hate him when he expresses his opinion. I have no problem with that... And Marrone gets to coach Cann....oh, the ignominity.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I have no problem with that... I think the miscommunication is when opinions and info become intertwined. I appreciate the inside source, but an objective one.
Agent 91 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Round 3 - Daryl Williams G Oklahoma Imo Is he better than the guard from Louisville? I have heard good things about him. But clearly not his name
zonabb Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I think looking ahead if the "draft a qb every year" theory is valid, this is a good time in the third, with a pretty decent roster, to roll the dice on a qb.
earthtobrint Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 As of now, over 1/3 (6 out of 17) of the picks following the Bills pick have been offensive linemen.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 @haprusak Take 2: The #Bills select CB Ronald Darby. @AdamBenigni and @salmaiorana break down the pick. http://on.wgrz.com/1EDq6Nkvia @WGRZ
thebandit27 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Is he better than the guard from Louisville? I have heard good things about him. But clearly not his name Yes. Williams could carve himself a career as a starting RT, but IMO he's got all pro potentate guard.

skibum Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Not a sexy pick, but the aggravating truth is that you have to draft a DB somewhere in the first three rounds with regularity. The massive consequences of getting burned by NFL receivers means that you can't afford to skimp on talent there. I will choke this pick down and like it.
NoSaint Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I enjoy the "I can't believe we took the guy killer had rated 73" and then rattled off names that went late 60s or are still on the board
