K D Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I've heard that there's not much of a drop-off from picks 20-50. So no reason to trade up unless there's a guy they had as a low first rounder that has plummeted
bladiebla Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I dunno, looking at the grades I really don't fancy any of the current draft class tbh. This is a draft where the scouting department needs to shine IMHO.
Fadingpain Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I say take a good interior OL with our first pick in the 2nd round....then blow them ALL on quarterback prospects. Why the hell not. Have a look at 3rd round and later draft selections over the years. It's a very long list of wash outs. Not much to lose.
Virgil Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 To be clear, I never said I wanted them to do it. I agree that the talent is thin and we are good at 50 or trade back. I'm just asking who would be worth it to you IF they did
bonechiller Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 This is not the year to have a first round pick (as evidenced by how many teams are trying to trade down). It's just not a good class. Better to add a few more mid-round selections and build the depth... Imo Well, since this seems to be a consensus all around, then would it make it "cheaper" to get back into the first? Seems everyone thinks the thing to do is trade down, may get a decent deal.
