While I'd love to get OL help at 50, they can still get a veteran guy via trade (Mathis) or FA (Blalock or Barksdale). Not ideal, but not the end of the world either...

Ya but can they afford Mathis's salary?

Buffalo Rumblings put out a mock Bills Big Board for tonight. Seems pretty good at first glance anyway. If you don't feel like following the link, the list is:

1) Randy Gregory, OLB

2) T.J. Clemmings, OT

3) Eddie Goldman, DT

4) Jake Fisher, OT

5) Dorial Green-Beckham, WR

6) Carl Davis, DT

7) Jordan Phillips, DT

8) Jalen Collins, CB

9) Landon Collins, S

10) P.J. Williams, CB

11) Eli Harold, OLB

12) A.J. Cann, G

13) Nate Orchard, OLB

14) Devin Funchess, WR/TE

15) Maxx Williams, TE

16) Donovan Smith, OT

17) Bernardrick McKinney, ILB

18) Bryce Petty, QB

Would love to see the Bills draft Eddie Goldman, the idea of him coming in when Dareus or Kyle need a breather is downright awesome. Guy is a monster.

If Goldman, Phillips, or Davis are there, then I believe it's a no-brainer.

Release Chis Williams after June 1 and you're almost half way there....

But dont they need the cap room up front in order for the trade to be approved?

Their top 51 contracts total $138 million right now or $10 million under the 2015 cap. They'd have the room to take on Mathis' contract ($6.5 million cap hit) and do some roster pruning and restructuring after June 1.

Cutting Williams after 6/1 frees up $2.5 million with only $875,000 in dead money. Find another $4 million somewhere and you're good to go. Since they don't have to sign a first round rookie this year, that takes some pressure off as well.

If Goldman is there, has to be the pick. Can't see him being there though, so Ronald Darby-CB-FSU

I think he has access to a Hot Tub Time Machine...never saw that pick coming
