YoloinOhio Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) I looked at his PFF rating #13 ILB with 519 snaps . That's good for the right price. I think the problem is finding room on this roster. Wish they would raise the 53 limit. Well, right now they would only need to find room on the roster of 90. Unfortunately, guys get hurt, suspended, (hopefully not but its a reality of the NFL) etc. so it is possible he could have a spot on the 53 in September. The issue is (from what we have heard) he has marketed himself out of his role here as far as his asking price. Edited May 14, 2015 by YoloinOhio

The issue is (from what we have heard) he has marketed himself out of his role here as far as his asking price. Any idea what kind of deal he is seeking or could expect? I see that he made $3.5M here last season so the "vet minimum" stuff some posters are saying is clearly not realistic. I assume he's after a multi-year deal but have no idea of what his market value is. Even another 1-year, $3.5M deal would be tough for the Bills to handle at this point. After rookie deals are done they'd be only about $1.6M under the cap by the Rule of 51.
Manther Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 It appears he is not coming back at this point. I would have thought if he was he would have been resigned shortly after the draft.

He's not worth more because he's a situational player. Either he agrees to take far less than his agent is asking for, or he waits for a team with no depth to suffer an injury at his position.

That's the gap he will land in.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 He will be signed by someone during training camp    CBF
YoloinOhio Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Since he visited with the Pats I was wondering if they were going to sign him just to make sure he doesn't yap about the "Patriot Way"... He has shown to not be shy about doing that
Jamie Nails Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Every time I log on and see this thread near the top, I'm fulling expecting a tweet saying he signed somewhere else.

boyst Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 He comes back with us. Just a feeling  Seattle would be wise to get him, too
truth on hold Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Idk why he's not on someone's roster, and I sure wish it was ours. He shored up our run defense and fit in well with the other players. Seemed like he was part of the team's "fabric". The knock is he's not good is pass coverage. But honestly what MLB has elite DB skills?
Jamie Nails Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Well, just checked his Twitter feed and he was in Charlotte today. Not sure if there's anything connected to the Panthers, but he was spotted at a mall and was RTing people who saw him.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Good possibility he'll be back, with Williams going to the practice squad and Brown possibly being cut,.
