ExiledInIllinois Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) 2013 jeep Sahara unlimited. About 18 in the city. Just finished a 500 mile trip to SC and back. Got about 20 mpg. Used cruise control a lot. My 2006 dino Jeep Wrangler TJ (I-6, 87 octane) gets 14-15 mpg. 2006 Pacifica/Family truckster AWD (V-6, Limited takes 89 Plus or higher) gets 17 mpg. Both of those are automatics. Wife's new Cooper S (Twinpower 2.0 I-4 Turbo, stick shift) is reading about 450 miles for for a 11.6 gallon tank... That's almost 40 a gallon. I think in reality it gets about 30 mpg. Not sure what it gets in "sport mode" doing 0-60 in just over 6 seconds. . I find myself filling it up even w/premium (91+) for about 22 bucks even when it isn't empty... Just because. EDIT: There is a "sweet spot" for the Jeep and those old cast iron engines... It is around 45 to 60 miles per hour. @ that speed I can get close to 20... Above it and the thing is closer to 10! Edited April 28, 2015 by ExiledInIllinois
Corp000085 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 48 hwy, 40 city It's a 2014 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI w/6speed manual. I can get 55+mpg if I drive alone, without luggage, shift smart, and drive the speed limit.

(Six speed tranny) My 1999 Golf could do 52 MPG with the AC running and driving 75-85
